All’s Sans Daylight on the Exterminationist Frontier

February 7, 2011

O’er Eyre Doth Gallus Speak

What uncouth barbarians yet tremble to behold.

Sucheth destroyers art thou crones and maidens

Of wistful gentlemen’s designs.

For man that dos’t regard the spectre of dreams mirror

As bodied o’er reason and intellect entwined

Is troubled not by that his dreams bespoilt.

Horror great and witness’d as murder

Missives which dispel what vision he holdeth in highest regard

What regard

His desire having let to rule

Without a matter to human flames

Which spectre dos’t extinguish.

Mustly comments here be left approved shall well endevour to bespeak what shall be fake shakespearian bullshit.

  2. Frances Blaikie Says:

Cute picture, but it’s not Shakespeare, it’s Thomas Overbury. The Cobbe portrait was a nine days’ wonder, before real scholars tore it apart.

  3. GallusMag Says:

Apologies muchly, but all what commentary here to be approved must be spoke’d in shakespearian fakery. ‘Tis pity too, for comments are most clever, ill wrought tho they be.

    • Marie-France Lesage Says:

But soft, what genius through yonder interweb breaks?
It is the west, and GallusMag is the moon.
Arise, fair moon, and outshine the genderist sun,
Who is already waxing with arrogant jealousy
That thou, a maid, art far more bright and fair than he.
