It is just so draining to have to keep on saying these things. Are we the only ones who hear our voices?

60 million girls assaulted on their way to school. She didn’t even say by WHOM.

Unbelievable comments on YouTube. Apparently, this is man-bashing.

    Brilliant Mag.
Of course, it is International Women’s Day.
So unfair to teh menz, they only have the other 364 days.

Wonderful post for Int’l Women’s Day.

“Until the answer is yes, we must never stop asking.”

Great video. Sadly the US simply has renamed International Women’s Day, “Pet Rocks in a Rucksack Day.”

“Gender issues are going to have to take a back seat to other priorities,” said the senior official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal policy deliberations. “There’s no way we can be successful if we maintain every special interest and pet project. All those pet rocks in our rucksack were taking us down.”

Sickening, isn’t it? For some god-awful reason i clicked on over to the huffington post today and all the International Women’s Day posts were over in the “Living” section ghetto. Yanno the one where they talk about whether chocolate is good for you or how many hours of sleep you really need.
      SICKENING.

Seems to be par for the course. I was have a discussion with a friend who was quite excited about the Egyptian women taking to the streets and being such a major presence during the recent protests. My prediction was that, when it’s all over, they will be shoved back into the kitchen again as teh menz get on with their ‘important menz stuff’. So what happens just a few weeks later during IWD when the Egyptian women take to the streets to demand equality and an end to violence? Yep, a group of men try and chase them off the streets, insisting their place is in the home.

Time and time again this happens, women will work along side men in some great cause or other, when it’s over, they get shoved back into the kitchen. Men never ever make good on their promises to women. Women have to realise that men will do this EVERY BLOODY TIME, and to stop having identity with any men’s groups at all.
