It’s the Heterosexuals, Stupid!

Transgender Flag

Who is trans? Who has the right to “gender-bend”? Who has the right to attempt to impersonate the opposite sex? When is trans “authentic” and when is it not?

These issues are coming to the fore as conflicts around the hastily and ill-considered “gender identity” laws which were passed in the last decade become tested by real life application.

Who are the Gender Identity laws- which are being pushed by mainstream LGBT organizations- designed to protect? It’s the heterosexuals, stupid.

In Portland a group of sexual fetishists (heterosexual men whose sexual arousal occurs by imagining themselves occupying the sexual “object” = female) filed a complaint against a bar that refused to allow them to hold gatherings there on Friday nights. The reason? These hetero male fetishists, the “Rose City T-Girls” insisted on using the women’s restroom, reportedly leaving the seats up and pissing all over and generally making the women unsafe and uncomfortable. From

“Though Avakian does not always file complaints, bureau spokesman Bob Estabrook said he did in this case because “there was concern that a large number of people were impacted.” He also said that because many of the T-Girls are not out of the closet as crossdressers “there may be barriers to the individuals filing the complaint themselves.”

Now, these guys make no claim to being “men in women’s bodies”, the standard internal, subjective, self-reported claim which Gender Identity laws are intended to protect. These guys get erections pretending to be female. Do Gender Identity protections force women into nonconsensual participation in these males sexual activities? Yes. And do Gender Identity laws remove the rights of women to privacy in women’s showers, locker rooms, restrooms and other areas segregated by sex for the safety of women from predatory males? Yes. Do Gender Identity laws remove the rights of women to act defensively and “trust their gut” in situations where some creepy dude is imposing himself? Yes.

Do transgender movement activists make a distinction between transsexuals who have undergone cosmetic medical or surgical “treatments” and hetero dudes that get erections pretending to be female? No. Do transgender movement activists make a distinction between individuals that have obtained legal “gender” recognition or otherwise objectively demonstrated a history of persistent internal self-concept  of oneself as “the wrong sex” – and hetero dudes that get erections pretending to be female? No.

Let’s face it. Gender Identity is a religion. It is a personal internal belief, completely subjective, unprovable, faith-based. Gender Identity protections protect the right to personal faith and personal belief in stereotypes based on reproductive sex. But religious protections don’t provide the right to stomp on the rights of women. A man may have the right to sacrifice chickens to express his internal subjective faith-based beliefs. But he doesn’t have the right to do so in the Ladies Room at the corner pub. And he must have objective proof of authenticity of his religious belief – such as proof of duration, proof of commitment. He can’t just claim to be temporarily Jewish to force his employers to give him the day off for Yom Kippur for example.

But that is exactly what Gender Identity laws do. A few GI laws and ordinances require objective proof of the claimed internal faith-based belief in “gender”. But most don’t. That would harsh the hetero erectile buzz, dude. In fact this year neuroscientist Vilayanur S. Ramachandran director of the Center for Brain and Cognition at the University of California, San Diego introduced research attempting to establish “Alternating Gender Incongruity” a “new category of transgenderism”. That’s right! Transgenders that “feel like” a woman in the morning and “feel like” a man for an hour or so before dinner, and then… etc. The transgender politic is moving rapidly away from “gender permanence” and away from objective proof of authentic faith. Even prominent transgender activist Meghan Stabler, the only heterosexual male board member of the largest LGBT organization in the US- the Human Rights Campaign- reverted to his male legal sex to marry his wife. It is all about the erections now.

Laws allowing legal change of sex were implemented for a tiny group of transsexuals that were left in social limbo due to having had their genitalia and reproductive organs surgically removed by experimental surgeries in the 1960’s, and their bodies visually changed from long-term ingestion of cross-sex hormones. Those people remain rare. According to a survey of the transgender population of NYC less than 5% of “full-time” transgenders have had “gender reassignment” surgery. Even with the current explosion of transgenderism, with some clinics reporting a doubling annually of individuals seeking cross-sex hormone treatments, there are still less than 50 surgeons worldwide willing to perform “sex change” surgeries. Transgender no longer means “sex change”. Legal sex is becoming increasingly meaningless and subjective. Gender Identity can change from morning to night- and back again. Why?

It’s the Heterosexuals, Stupid. Specifically it’s the predatory and sexist right to erections of heterosexual men that mainstream LGBT rights organizations are now fighting to protect. If you become aroused being perceived as an “object” (female), you require an AUDIENCE. Much like subway flashers, flashing alone to yourself at home lacks the “kick” that inflicting yourself on an audience provides. And the millions of closeted hetero transvestic fetishists – men in government and law and medicine and finance- are pushing these “protections” through faster than the social implications (for women) of their practical application can be assessed. So, gaggles of testosterone-soaked porn-sick dudes taking away a safe private place for women to pee and change their tampons, etc in Oregon. And everywhere these laws have been passed.

In Colorado a woman who reported a creepy man in the women’s restroom was told by mall security that they had no legal right to even inquire about the man’s internal gender self-concept due to the local Gender Identity ordinance. Much less kick him out. Or arrest him for being a predatory peeping tom.

From the comments section on the Oregonlive article linked above:

“KristyGCD-I want to clarify a few things… First, In my original comment I posted that “members of the Rose City T-Girls Yahoo Group filed the complaint”. Brad Avakian actually filed the complaint but to my understanding about a half dozen of the core members were named in the complaint. It becomes confusing and also they have a lawyer involved in some capacity as well.

Second, Cassandra the leader of the Rose City T-Girls Yahoo Group does not identify herself/himself with the title of “Transgender Woman”, he is a Crossdresser. It seems as if every single last news story went with that false title. If you go on the Rose City T-Girls Yahoo Group webpage and click the name link “Cassandra” at the bottom of the page, his Yahoo profile comes up and he identifies himself as “CD Cassandra”. His main yahoo email address even contains the word “crossdressing” in it.

Jennifer– Oh Kristy, don’t forget about Cassandra’s perverted little on-line sex site. Don’t forget to let people know that they can see more than they ever care to of Cassandra just by going to this link How freakin’ gross is that??? And this group claims that it represents the transgendered community. I just don’t understand how any self-respecting member of the transgendered community could associate itself with this sicko and his perverted group.

KristyGCD– Yeah, pretty nasty little web sex cam for money thingy going on there for a group leader/activist. Wonder if his wife knows about that one… Wonder how many people in his group know what he is involved in?

KristyGCD– Holy Crow! Google ‘CASSANDRA4FUN PORTLAND’ and you get back no less than 25 hits from a whole array of different smutty websites linking to his iFriends.Com sex cam profile. One of the websites his profile shows up on is a smut site called Teenagers.Org, Make no mistake, his Cassandra photo shows in every last one of them. What the…. OK, I’m feeling a little sick, I gotta go hurl now!

“Jennifer– You’re analogy is closer to the truth than you think, Lorca! They DO have a sex offender in their group! Their member of the month for this past August was arrested for masturbating in public (while dressed like a girl) in his neighborhood while little kids were playing! If people knew exactly how disgusting and depraved this group is, they would run them out of town!”

“KristyGCD– I was a member of the Rose City T-Girl Yahoo Group that filed the complaint. Also, as a crossdresser in that group I went to the P-Club almost every Friday night for most of the past year. From my perspective I can clearly see why the group cost Chris Penner his regular patrons and their business. A hand full in the group guzzled pitchers of cheap beer, were loud and obnoxious. Their behaviors also caused issues with the women’s bathroom as well. The CD leader of the group “Cassandra” was one of the biggest offenders of those same bad behaviors. Looking back and putting everything in hindsight, I am ashamed of myself for involving my crossdressing in something so tacky and chaotic. The leaders of group (same ones who filed the complaint) knew there was a problem with their presence there from as far back as 18 months ago, but continued to use the P-Club as the Friday night hangout. One of CD’s in the group even posted that fact in his blog ‘Susan Miller’s Blog’. My opinion from experience from then and up to today, this whole complaint seems more like a “gotcha” moment in the simple wording of a sentence on requesting the group not to come back. Why on earth a group of mostly closeted CD’s would want to play “the victim” bring themselves into controversy and the public eye is beyond me…”

So. What about gay men who impersonate females? Do transgender movement activists welcome them under the Genderist Umbrella? Nope. Not if they don’t get erections from impersonating females, as research shows most homosexual crossdressers do not. Well here’s a good example from this week.

Sydney crossdresser and performer Trevor Ashley has a parody of the musical “Annie” opening at the Sydney Opera House in a few months called “TrAnnie”. From Gay News

It follows the “hard knock life” of ten year old orphan Fannie who is desperate to have “long-overdue” gender reassignment surgery but must first escape the Sutherland Shire Children’s Orphanage and the clutches of boozy matron and registered sex offender Miss Trannigan.”

Transgender activists, in what the article calls a “growing controversy” are up in arms against the non-heterosexual crossdresser. Why? Because Ashley has not proclaimed an internal feeling/faith of “I am in the wrong body”. He has not given public personal testimony as to his internal self belief vis a vis “Gender Identity”. Why not? Because he is a crossdresser, just like the heterosexual fetishist Rose City T-Girls, who also are crossdressing men, men protected by the “Transgender Umbrella”. But in Ashley’s case….no erections! No heterosexuality! So no umbrella for you.

“Trans Menace” spokesman Indi Edwards- a heterosexual man who famously launched a campaign likening lesbian feminists to insects deserving of extermination – and who, along with other transgender activists joined forces with Men’s Rights Activists to have Gender Identity “protections” in Great Britain applied to prevent all female-only gatherings and conferences at Conway Hall- vows to stop Ashley’s show from ever being performed: “The show wont go on” he stated [sic].

So there you have it. This is the tale of how the LGBT movement became an anti-female, anti-gay, Heterosexual Men’s Rights movement. The most powerful heterosexual Men’s Rights movement since, uh….well.

  1. GallusMag Says:

Interesting comment from a transgender FTM on how trans is a men’s rights movement:

“The misunderstanding leading people to believe these transwomen are men, shows that misandry is driving the transphobia. The way this article is written, if we are not careful, feminist propaganda could pick it up as proof that women are still oppressed- completely flipping the truth ass-backwards.”

    • Ave Says:

The FTM is right about the clothing thing imo.
But to say women aren’t oppressed anymore is just foolishness.
99% of the stuff that oppresses men only affects the feminine ones, not the average ones at all.

      • Loup-loup garou Says:

I do not agree at all about the clothing thing. The FTM poster stated that “when a women wears pants, they’re just pants,” that is, they’re not seen as male attire. This is only true if those pants are clearly “feminine,” at least in cut, and preferably in color and materials as well. If not, the woman wearing them will be accused of cross-dressing, especially if she’s wearing a shirt instead of a blouse or a clingy sweater, and the dreaded “comfortable shoes” instead of ballet flats or heels. That goes double if she’s wearing dark, cool colors or neutrals, and triple if her shirt isn’t exaggeratedly nipped in at the waist, so as to call attention to her, uh, attributes. Quadruple if anything she’s wearing is actually from the men’s section. (Sometimes, to find a shirt that actually fits, doesn’t have bizarre lacy things all over it, or an exaggerated cut that will be out of date in five minutes, it is necessary for a woman to shop on the other side of the aisle.) And trust me, long hair will not save you from the accusation of looking too masculine.

It’s not an unusual experience for women who don’t dress in a stereotypically feminine manner to be singled out for verbal and physical attacks. Happens to me at least 2-3 times a year, and I live in an urban area that has a large gay population and prides itself on being superduperliberal. The notion that women have more freedom in their clothing choices is simply a myth. As long as men don’t wear skirts (unless they’re marching in the St. Patrick’s Day parade), they’re fine. In some parts of the country, they may need to avoid pink and purple, and most jewlery. Pretty simple. Women, in contrast, have to walk through a minefield every time they dressed. With very few exceptions, it’s not so much a question of whether or not a particular item is permitted, as whether or not it’s a sufficiently feminine version of whatever it is. And if isn’t, you’re expected to find clever ways to pair it with more feminine items to counteract any unacceptable whiff of masculinity. Is it drapey and soft? No worries. Is it a warm color, or a pastel? It’s a go. Is it dark blue and tailored? Quick, soften it up with a scarf so you don’t look like a dyke! Or make it cute and ironic, somehow!

Of course, you won’t go to jail nowadays for saying “Screw it, I’m not going to play by those rules.” But the truth is, a woman who does that takes some risk with both her safety and her chances of employment. Also, if she happens to be heterosexual, she will have to deal with her librul friends snickering all the time when she mentions her boyfriend or husband, and asking her pityingly when she’s going to come out. If she’s a lesbian, of course, the question is “What pronoun do you prefer” (She, for eff’s sake!) or “When are going to go on T?” (*Eyeroll*)

      • Adrian Says:

@Loup-loup garou – As a woman who wears men’s clothing all the time (and does have short hair), I’ll second your comment whole-heartedly.

I suppose the perception is maybe a bit different than the reverse situation, but I’ve certainly “enjoyed” my share of people yelling “are you a boy or a girl?” from passing cars, or more up close and personal, being assumed to be somehow childish or “broken” or mentally off or the like, because of course adult women are supposed to fully embrace the sex object role thing. Never mind when people would see my tighty-whities at the laundromat.

Hell, nowadays even T-shirts aren’t just T-shirts, they’re “women’s T-shirts” (nipped at the waist, tight, small) or “men’s T-shirts” (the usual straight cut ones). Occasionally you can still find the latter as “unisex” if you’re lucky, but recently I’ve been surprised to find young girls (high school age, mainly) on the internet telling horrible stories of their parents getting worried about their gender already when all they did was buy a “men’s T-shirt” at a concert!!

Some of the extreme segregation I do think is actually getting worse in recent years – there was a short “better period” in between the days where women couldn’t wear pants to work and when their t-shirts all have to be sexy. It wasn’t perfect, but it seems to me we’re going in the wrong direction again.

I notice now they make “girls'” Chuck Taylor All-Stars even! Just these past few years, there’s the regular ones (which plenty of women do still wear) but now a new slimmed down version with thin soles and more shaped like some mix with the ballet flat. If people like that style, all the power to ’em I guess, but the thing is usually as soon as a “girly” version of whatever it is comes out, you start getting side-eye if you don’t switch over to use that exclusively, because the previous “regular” version gets coded “for men.”

      • hearthrising Says:

I want to rant about the clothes thing for a moment. I’m a very feminine appearing woman, and I avoid wearing men’s clothing, because even something like a tux would only accentuate my femininity. But I find clothing a frustrating issue because I take part in a lot of outdoor sports, and it’s difficult to find clothing appropriate for the activity sized correctly. Usually I have to resort to mail order, and even then what I find is something that’s smaller, but still made for a male frame. It’s gotten better over the past 20 years, but there’s still a long ways to go. I notice that as more women’s gear and high-end outdoor clothing becomes available, more women are doing the sports. It’s a chicken-and-egg thing. I haven’t complained about it on any feminist sites because, in the context of women’s oppression, it’s a very small thing. But it’s a bigger deal than finding a size 13 pump to go with that darling purple skirt and then being harrassed for choosing to wear the skirt. You can still go to the party or the movie wearing something else. For me it’s often a matter of finding any clothing at all that works for the activity, and dealing with the physical danger of clothing/gear that’s too big or inappropriate for the activity.

      • Ave Says:

Loup-loup garou I understand your points too about how the clothes still nonetheless have to have a feminine cut (same thing with women with short hair). Jobs certainly require a feminine look.
“It’s not an unusual experience for women who don’t dress in a stereotypically feminine manner to be singled out for verbal and physical attacks.”
That’s mostly only if they’re overtly masculine.
Alot of male clothing is also unisex. I’ve never seen female clothing labelled as unisex.
So as said, I do agree with your points too, but i still think it’s worst for males with regard to the alternate clothing issue. I could give alot of examples but it’s pretty obvious in society why it’s worse for males who don’t conform

      • GallusMag Says:

@Ave- I would LOVE to hear how gender roles and the sex hierarchy are WORSE for MALES. Or should I just look at the nearest MRA blog to find out?

So much of what you say requires such basic debunking- such Feminism 101 type stuff that my readers should not be forced to respond to on a non 101 blog such as this. It is tedious, it is boring, it is the same shit being spewed in female-hating and male supremacist spaces (ie the whole rest of the fucking internet) that there is no reason for me to host it here- is there?

For example “Alot of male clothing is also unisex. I’ve never seen female clothing labelled as unisex.” That is because males are THE DEFAULT HUMANS. Females are SUB-HUMAN in the gender hierarchy. This is SUCH BASIC shit.

Either step up your game or find a more suitable blog to comment on. Thanks.

You should have taken THIS EXCELLENT suggestion while you had a chance:

      • GallusMag Says:

If anyone else wants to expend the energy responding to Ave feel free. I just don’t have the patience today. And I’m not going to turn this blog into a 101 space for men like Ave.

    • magicpoppy Says:

I’ve seen MTF MRAs before but this is the first FTM MRA I’ve come across. How bizarre for a woman to embrace Spearhead-esque MRA politics, when those clowns would never accept a penisless female as a man.

There’s a comical footnote to the article:

“Cis means a person who identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth. This is not an offensive term for cis people. Rather, it is term used to show that cis identities are no more normal and just as much performed as trans identities.”

Ha ha, right. It was funnier when Ru Paul said we all do drag. Let’s pretend there is no such thing as biological sex to sooth the delicate feelings of trans people. You don’t perform your sex, Chai, you just are a person of that sex.

They just keep throwing shit at the wall hoping it will stick, and it gets increasingly ridiculous.

      • tired old radfem Says:

What would happen if any other social designation were used instead of “cis,” and the members of that group were told the term was “not an offensive term”? Seems to me it would sound very much like the owner of the Washington, DC, pro football team sounds ebery time he whitesplains to Native Americans that the team’s name is “not an offensive term.”

As a woman, I am not okay with any other group “naming” my identity. It’s what men do. It’s what white people do. It’s what religions do. In other words, it’s what oppressors do. And trans people as a group are oppressed; however, using the tools of the oppressor to categorize other people, especially women, is not acceptable. No matter how much anyone insists that it is.

    • Ave Says:

Gallus, I was only talking about a really mundane thing, males can’t go out wearing things like makeup or skirts without being bothered for it while women can wear what they want. How you interpreted that as me saying that men are oppressed more as a whole class than women is beyond’re just grasping for something that’s not there and wasn’t implied

  2. Ave Says:

The transes simply have nothing objective about the gender identity stuff it’s true. If there was there’d be a blood test for it or whatever. Their whole “brain gender” ideas are bull.
They themselves realize this. Just look at how mad they get at “chasers”. If a guy is only into dating transes they say he’s gay/bi…but yet they have specific groups for “t-girls” (t.estes-girls). Hypocritical much no? If there was no difference between trans and females there’d be no such groups.
they can’t deal with the fact that the men into them just want a feminine male.
I argue with transes all the time about this stuff online, they always repeat the same trans party lines in response lol

I also think this is why all the transes is being pushed on to Intersex people needlessly as well. All the trans do is objectify genitals and intersex people’s plight. They simply repeat the same crap that they do to women on to Intersex people as well.

  6. Adrian Says:

For what it’s worth, the Dr. Ramachandran mentioned in this post is one of the big people involved with “Body Identity Integrity Disorder” (a.k.a. the transabled thing) as well.

  7. Interesting take on the internecine warfare between the het male cross-dressing fetishists, the “I was born in the wrong body” transgender dudes and the gay male transvestites.

The whole lot of them give me a headache. A HUGE headache.

  8. anon male Says:

The comments you posted really show a different dynamic from what the media really wants to convey: the trans press likes to paint a picture of everyone always being vulnerable out on their own, poor lonesome types, but what is really being talked about here is a GANG. When a hoard of any type of people basically occupies an establishment, they’re the ones in control. This dude could take a piss in any bathroom he wanted without being in danger because of that. Fuck, he could probably stand on the bar and take a piss on other customers and be completely safe until the cops arrived.

Reasonable people would reasonably be intimidated by a bunch of middle-aged white guys acting out like that — and that intimidated group would probably include other middle aged white guys who don’t happen to be batshit insane and are fully possessed of all their mental self-preservation faculties. Most of society defers to batshit people — which is why the only protected identities are “religious” and “gender”. So much for cis-privilege.

Also, I hate drag stuff, but “your son will come out tomorrow” is hilarious.

  9. Bev Jo Says:

Thank you so much, Gallus, for your excellent work once again. I love how you keep providing us with more information to share with those who think of the trannies as a few oppressed “transwomen” who have no power and must be supported by the Lesbians they are harming and parasitizing. It’s the same ancient male war against Lesbians and all women, but using a variation in tactics and conning, and you always give such excellent and convincing examples of that.

Thank you also for confronting Ave. I responded several threads before about his complaints about how much harder men have it than women, and here he is again. Men like him run the world, media, etc. There is no escape except for here and a few other places. I am so sick of men like him shoving their lies down our throats. No, men do not have it worse than women on any level. And I wish to hell he would stop referring to ANY women as “overtly masculine.”

    • GallusMag Says:

Sorry I let that go on so long.

      • Hi, I’m just a passerby who happens to be a curious person and bothered to read every word in this page. Now I’m not going to say what you said is right or wrong. What I am going to say is that how you are saying it is wrong. And here I am defending Ave. I’m not taking a side on what is being said, but HOW the things are being said. (Yes, I do feel a need to stress this) I have only read (in more detail than usual for me) two pages of this website. Now you see Ave’s comments? At least he has the decency to not ‘virtually ‘shout” and tell people to “shut up” because they are voicing their opinion. Now see your comments? (Especially the last here) Let’s just say they could have been said in a better way. Now I don’t personally know you or Ave, and I can’t judge anyone, but in my view you’re not a very good person. I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry to say this, but to me it looks like bulying and it seems that you’re talking like that to him just because he’s male.
Now I don’t know if you will just delete this comment, treat it like Ave’s, or pick option c which is reply to it at least politely.
You see what I have done? No? Re-evaluate. Before I end this, again, I am not, I repeat, NOT taking side on what is being said, but HOW the things are being said. Thank you.

      • GallusMag Says:

You have no idea what went on here with Ave last year so shut the fuck up dickhead.
P.S. “I never read things in full but I was engaged by this conversation. Let me tell you how to change that”. LOL forever.

On second thought glancing back over this thread there is more than enough here to see what was going on. You comment is innane and unwarranted sir- inexcusable actually. But thanks for trolling and please feel free to enjoy another blog that isn’t this one. Bye bye.

    • Ave Says:

” I am so sick of men like him shoving their lies down our throats. No, men do not have it worse than women on any level. And I wish to hell he would stop referring to ANY women as “overtly masculine.””
I’m not shoving anything down anyones throats.
“on any level”do you really think in a conventional day-to-day situation a (conventionally, don’t shove words down my throat) masculine woman is treated worse (for dressing how they do) than a feminine man? you’d have to be delusive to believe that…you just want to believe only women can have problems and think everyone else should just fuck off.
it’s funny too how you would say society is bad for saying women are certain ways naturally, yet you say the opposite about men.

    • Ave Says:

“about his complaints about how much harder men have it than women”
so because i point out one area where i think men have it harder that means i think women don’t have it harder overall? lol. you’re really grasping for straws. i wonder if gallus will even post this comment

      • GallusMag Says:

What the fuck is WRONG with you?!?! You keep submitting multiple comments after I told you to STOP your MRA bullshit and LISTEN to the many women who have CORRECTED your CLUELESS MALE SUPREMACIST BULLSHIT. Including one snotty little comment informing me you “don’t even care” about being banned. And yet you keep sending me comments, droning on, in your whiny male tone AS IF NONE OF US HAVE EVEN SPOKEN.

What a fucking crybaby male jackass.

The female body IS THE VERY DEFINITION of OBSCENITY.

Tens of thousands of young women are GETTING THEIR TITS HACKED OFF – Or in some places IRONED OFF to TRY TO ESCAPE THIS DAILY FUCKING WAR AGAINST WOMEN.

Are YOU Ave going to BE GANG RAPED by a group of DUDES for wearing the “wrong” thing down the street? Dudes who will then BLAME YOU for them RAPING YOU because of your FUCKING OUTFIT?????
        So SHUT THE FUCK UP.
