  1. Michelle Says:

I wish I could look that good.

    • GallusMag Says:

Sir, we have an actual female who comments here regularly as “Michelle”. You will have to use another name to comment here. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

      • Michelle Says:

I am not a sir, I am a ma’am and I am not quite sure what kind of site this is, I commented from my word post account and as far as I am concerned I am a real woman, and my name is Michelle. I will not change it. I haven’t figured out if this site is full of a lot of anti-trans bigots or not. If this is an anti-trans bigot site, then I don’t want to be here. If this is an honest discussion board, then let me know. Millions of women have the name Michelle, are you saying only one women in a millions can use this name. There had better only be one Bill here, or one William. Get off your high horse us trans women are here to stay rather you like it or not. If this is not a respectful site count me out.

      • GallusMag Says:

What is not respectful is your refusal to abide by the same basic common courtesy as every single other commenter on this blog. What a huge dickhead you are sir. It’s too bad you are incapable of conducting yourself in a respectful manner in the presence of other human beings. I can’t imagine what that must be like. Pretty unhappy, I suspect. Then again, perhaps your narcissism keeps you company in that special magical place where none of the normal rules of social etiquette apply to you. Goodbye sir, you are banned. Adieu.

      • Ashland Avenue Says:

You’re not a woman, you’re a laughingstock. And oh, by the way, Gallus has in the past asked women here to change their screen name if there’s already another poster using their name. It isn’t being done to you alone, so get off the victim train on that one.

“There had better only be one Bill here, or one William.” HA HA HA!! He thinks he’s in charge here!! Dude, you’re nothing but yet another old white man who thinks he can dick-tate to women what we can think or say. Not happening here. What a vile, narcissistic POS you are. Buh-bye!

      • michelle Says:

thnx for having my back GM…it always is cringeworthy having to see the name sullied by those who refuse to abide by simple courtesies.

      • GallusMag Says:

Just doing my job maintaining the best possible experience for my readership. 😉

      • cassiefied122 Says:

You people fucking sicken me. Don’t you bitter, dried-up old cunts have anything better to do than tear people down? Does it make you feel better about yourself?

Fucking hell. I came here by link expecting to be educated with hard facts, not to witness this shitshow.

        What a fucking joke.

    • Ashland Avenue Says:

“Good”?! Oh…now I see who made that comment. It’s all clear to me now.

      • GallusMag Says:

      • MaryMacha Says:

I’m confused. If there are thousands of genders how come the “gender line” only has two sides?

      • kaypasser Says:

someone should tell him… the *facts* being *hard* in a pair of panties, is why they are not welcome in womens spaces, the reason this problem exists and the whole point of this post.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

I look better than he does, and believe me, I don’t look that great at 60, because I am actually a WOMAN, a female human being. No MAN ever looks like a woman, no matter how much surgical mutilation and hormone treatments he has had.

Many women at my age look better than I do, but NO man in drag does.

I will always call Bruce by his real name. To me he symbolized great athleticism, not to mention he was one great looking guy in his prime in the late 1970s. I don’t want to remember him as a mentally ill man who spent his last years trying to destroy that great body he once had.

It’s a human tragedy, and we should not celebrate it.

      • river Says:

Bruce wishes he looked like that too. Bruce wants to thank his wig supplier and stylist, team of make-up artists, costumer, the platoon in the photo shop department some of whom were called in from vacations and children’s commencement ceremonies–way to go guys, and especially …

        Who owns you Annie?

      • GallusMag Says:

Holy shit. The merging of old white man money with beauty product consumables. No wonder image rags sponsored by cosmetics and fashion industries are all over this shit!

      • morag99 Says:

“Bruce wishes he looked like that too.”

        Snort! Exactly.

      • Lint Says:

Indeed! What these MtTs don’t understand is that they will NEVER look like a woman let alone be one. There is always something off, always something wrong, always something distinctly UNfeminine about these men. Even with all the photo shop, lighting, make up etc, Bruce Jenner looks like some surreal being… a phantasmagoria.

What are the handmaidens talking about when they wish they “could look as good” as he does? Have they been brainwashed in to thinking that a chopped up, melting plastic face morphed by the magic of photography and photoshop is superior to a woman?

      • GallusMag Says:

@River- Annie Leibovitz is an advertising photographer. As far as I know she gave up on art decades ago (unless she keeps a secret vault somewhere) So, yes, she is “owned” by business interests, and happily so. Her specialty is producing brand images for individuals who wish to market themselves as celebrities.

      • Ashland Avenue Says:

Yeah, well said about Leibovitz, Gallus. I’m looking at her entire oeuvre with different eyes now.

      • GallusMag Says:

Annie Leibovitz: Oh my god, the old man hands…, er, roll up the window, I can obscure them…

      • Ashland Avenue Says:

Nice catch on the use of that car window, Gallus. With all the forethought that goes into the compositions of Leibovitz’s portraits, that was obviously there for a reason.

      • Susan Nunes Says:

Man, was his waist EVER airbrushed or photoshopped out. The LAST thing he should be photographed in is behind the wheel of a car. It is in extremely bad taste.

    • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

I look better today. Today I did yardwork, I am stronger and healthier than I was 10 years ago. I saw a friend and we laughed and we talked, and it was so good to see her, I was beautiful, she was beautiful, smiling and responding to each other and caring for each other, and celebrating the good things happening in our lives, even if it’s something small. The waitstaff and the cashiers I interacted with today were beautiful, weary, hardworking, professional, wrinkled and tanned and stressed and worn out, but they did their tough oppressive jobs with class. The woman I saw with her daughter today was beautiful, even though she was darker and smaller and had on no makeup and she even looked a little afraid when she saw me, because I am a big white woman, and maybe I imagined it and maybe I didn’t. I was surrounded by beautiful people all day long, some with bad teeth and bad skin and bent bodies and some standing tall and obviously going to yoga and getting botox but who knows what the fuck is going on in their lives.

You and Bruce only wish you could be as beautiful as all of us were today.

      • Dogtowner Says:

I love this, AreYouSaying. I, too, find ordinary people beautiful, not the crap the advertisers sell us as beautiful which is often either pathetic or horrifying.

      • margotalways Says:

        Wild applause!!!!! Standing ovation!!!!!

  2. grumpyuncleR Says:

No, even with all the airbrushing etc. he still does not “pass”.
I don’t know whose idea it was to put him on the front of a glossy magazine and try to pass that picture off as somehow being glamorous but it will, in the longer term, be a valuable record of this slow-motion car crash.

  3. Ashland Avenue Says:

Sixty-five years old and he goes with “Caitlin.” That, plus the bunny outfit, plus the massive amount of Photoshopping…this guy is going for the entire bingo card, isn’t he?

Good grief, what a pathetic cliché. It’s just sad.

      • anon male Says:

“Y is such an unpredictable letter, neither a vowel nor a consonant, and since I identify capriciousness with womanhood, I want me some of that!”

      • Lulu Says:

A senior citizen named Caitlyn. Hilarious. I guess names from his own generation like Cynthia, Joan, Diana, or Hillary just aren’t cutesy and girly enough. No. He has to name himself after half the girls who go to school with his 17 year old daughter. No wonder he was sneaking into her closet. I guess 65 year old “Caitlyn” prefers clothes from the Juniors department.

      • anon male Says:

Maybe it’s just a Game of Thrones cosplay; at least he didn’t show up at comicon as Arya.

/I’m a glass half full, type, for realsies

      • Stop Surgical Abuse Says:

So he picked the name of a 17 yr old girl? Typical. All these laydee men imagine themselves as blossoming young women…even in their 60s. So gross!

      • MaryMacha Says:

@ Stop. That’s because they’re of a demographic that only values females in that age group, that is, slimmer, smoother, more naive, more agreeable, and most of all, fertile.

    • ACAB Says:

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever met a Caitlin/Caitlyn/etc. who was born before 1985. Perhaps he identifies as being in his 20s?

Also, I think that this is my “peak trans” moment. I thought that I’d experienced peak trans before, but the autogynephiles just keep pushing it.

      -Assigned Caitlin at Birth

      • dbrvnk Says:

I was born in ’91 and it seemed like the most common girls’ name of my generation (I remember one third grade class had two Kaitlins, a Kaitlyn and a Caitlin who had to be identified by their surnames instead). I don’t think it was, but it couldn’t have been far off.

I guess BJ is ‘transaged’ like the laydeez in the reddit forum someone linked the other day, and thinks he is truly 18 years old at heart or whatever.

      • kesher Says:

The fetishists only want to see themselves as young, hot women.

Speaking as a woman who was once young, but never “hot”, I just find it interesting the level of delusion operating in these guys’ minds. That they’re old, and usually ugly, never factors in to how they see themselves. It must be amazing, operating in a world completely free of insecurity and self-doubt.

      • michelle Says:

The first time I can recall hearing the name was one of the later episodes of Miami Vice…the singer that Crockett married had the name. But it was certainly far from common, and not something that most parents would have even contemplated for their child in the era when Bruce was born…

      • Annoyed Bi Chick Says:

My sister’s a Caitlyn who was born in 1984. My parents got in ahead of the trend for once.

      • gxm17 Says:

Agreed, kesher. It’s because they were raised with male privilege and their self-worth was never connected to their appearance. They believe they are “beautiful” because no one has ever judged or policed their body. And, they carry that male privilege right through transition with the culturally upheld belief that they are superior to born women and their wants/needs outweigh the half of the population who’s oppression they are wearing.

      • Loup-loup garou Says:

I’ve known some Caitlins who were born in the 60s. It wasn’t a common name, but neither was it unheard of. Usually it meant that one or both of your parents were proud of having Scottish ancestry.

    • Secret Serval Says:

He watched Miss America to get ideas for names. Because…of course he did. He’s just like a sexy girl of 22 in make up. Looking forward to Caitlyn as Miss California in 2016

    • Secret Serval Says:

To help chose a name Bruce watched Miss America for ideas. Guessing he didn’t watch the 1969 to 1972 contests though or he’d be a Susan or a Pam

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

It’s pretty disturbing that his autogynephile alter-ego has a name that could belong to one of his daughters/step-daughters but for the ‘C’ spelling. Especially creepy as he used to try on their clothes when they were out of the house.

    • Zemskull Says:

Has he legally changed his name to Caitlyn and his IDs to Female? Seems a little odd if he’s expecting others to identify him in ways he hasn’t bothered to legally established.

  4. margaret Says:

Am I the only one who sees the cover as sly and snide – you wanna be a laydee, get into your underwear. And we’ll handcuff you to show your newborn helplessness and subjugation. Smile!

    • I'm No Cissie Says:

Yes, yes, of course he is in his underwear. All “women” of “influence” on magazine covers MUST be clad in nothing more than underwear. See, Beyonce.

  5. wildwomyn Says:

But is he “fuckable”? I mean, that’s the ultimate gender indicator, right? He’ll still keep his dick so he can have regular sex with women.

    • river Says:

A real woman would have spread. No I mean it. Only a man is going to crush his upper thighs together like that. To keep the erection down god that was some hot session. I hope Annie is still puking in the toilet what a sell out.

      • Oceans Says:

Annie Leibovitz was close to bankruptcy about 5 years ago. She borrowed against some property she bought at the top of the market and her photo archive. Very nearly had to file for bankruptcy. I’m just appalled that any woman would think this hideous, demeaning photo would be appropriate.

  6. Biscuit Says:

He still has man face and man shoulders, even with all that plastic surgery and photoshopping.

Let’s see…he abandoned his own sons, used his daughter’s clothing as sex props, and didn’t seem to care after killing someone by driving carelessly. If an actual woman behaved that way, she’d be crucified. A dude does it and he can still find a way to be the centre of attention.

    • Apparently he bared his breasts to his adult son, who scolded him for grossing him out.

Would a (sober, sane) woman do that to her son?

And since BJ was his dad, it’s downright cruel.

Imagine if a 67 yo exposed himself to his adult daughter…people would be screaming abuse. But if a tranny does it? It’s not abuse — it’s courageous!

      • Biscuit Says:

Oh my God that’s creepy. I think that is a type of abuse.

      • ImNoCissie Says:

He IS an incestuous abuser. Flashed his son, stole his daughters’ and step-daughter’s clothing and apparently Caitlyn is the name of his other son’s girlfriend. His whole trans-ition and reality show just reeks of Kompeting With and Koveting the Kardashians.

And god knows what other gross violations of trust and boundaries this jerk has committed that haven’t been revealed to the public.

      • No name Says:

Keeping up with the Kardashians is pretty much over, Is the ‘new’ direction of the show going to be, ‘perving with the Jenner’?

This was mentioned on gendercrit/ G_C reddit comments: There is this ominous feeling that after his 15 min are over[or his show is cancelled]- this might escalate into something else- him either coming out as gay, or committing suicide. [not a joke- ]

He killed a woman, did a big interview, scheduled surgery the next day, then after three months healing time for a cosmetic surgery that took all day, did a photo shoot. This tells me alot about him. There are a few daddies’ girls in the family, but he is the top of the hierarchy.

Oddly, this is not the first man to kill a woman, then went on to ID as a ‘women’ out of some broken mechanism in the alpha male[or wanna be alpha male] ego. I could make a small list of men that did this and I get an uneasy feeling about that as well.

        On a positive note,
Just a mention, the petition passed 7,500 goal and they upped it to a 10,000 signature goal.

‘I wanna keep my dick’- Jenner may be the long awaited public peak trans trigger.

      • I’m with you No Name, I don’t think suicide is off the table once the spotlight fades. In fact, for a narcissist, it’s the ONLY way to go.

      • Jane (the first) Says:

‘I wanna keep my dick’- Jenner may be the long awaited public peak trans trigger.

I agree. The Olympic petition was world-class trolling, and I think Jenner’s show is gonna be great for our side too. If the media insists on shoving the ladystick in my face and demanding I pay homage, I’m gonna respond with the best weapon there is: ridicule. As Thomas Jefferson said: “Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions”.

Everything’s coming up roses, ladies. We’re gonna laugh our way to victory. They certainly make it easy enough.

      • kesher Says:

It’s kind of a shame Jenner’s kids opted not to participate in the reality show. I respect their decision but how else will the world see what a deadbeat dick that guy is? If they were participating, even I would watch to see how often Bruce lets the mask slip and acts even more like an entitled male than usual. It really seems like these guys act worse, not better, post-transition because “bigotry” made them do it.

    • margotalways Says:

Don’t forget the part where he says his wife was financially controlling (wouldn’t let him have moneez for his ladee clothes and a new mangina) and that he left because she mistreated him but he still loves her because the last however many years were great!

  7. mayimoktoo Says:

Jenner showing us what “woman” is – airbrushed, tits pushed up and a willing hole at 70. Great! If they’re so fuckable now, the elderly white transwomen population can take on some of our rape and sexual assault.

    • Livvie Says:

Right? I am in full agreement with you. The elderly white trannies with the names of Barbie dolls can get right in line to get raped. Everyone knows it would give these psychos a hard-on to be so ‘desired’.

Facebook is such the neverending nightmare right now. Friends whom I used to respect keep blathering about how beautiful he is and I keep saying, “So. You’ve never heard of Photoshop, then?” He doesn’t even look real, for god’s sake. He’s about as authentic as a can of floral aerosol that you use to cover the smell of shit.

When are feminists who go along with this trans crap finally going to realize that the very concept of laydee brains pulls down everything that women have been fighting for forever? Because it’s not going to be long before we start hearing narratives like “Well, I’m in STEM and I had no problems” or “What is a wage gap?” or “I’ve never been raped”; well, yeah, of course not, because you’re a fucking MAN.

Meanwhile, women will continue to be left in the lurch. I want to shake my friends and scream in their faces to wake up, please wake up. It’s so insidious and so awful. I feel sick. Again.

      • gxm17 Says:

It’s interesting that before Jenner’s transition, people ridiculed all the plastic surgery he’d had and how bad he looked. Now, suddenly, he’s “beautiful”? Our culture has become batshit crazy.

  8. Annoyed Bi Chick Says:

I’d really like to know what his torso looks like when he’s not wearing an incredibly heavily-boned garment. Not that much waist indention, and I’m accounting for the Photoshop…because we all know there’s a lot.

But ladies, this is such a win for feminism, because Vanity Fair finally put a 65 year old woman on the cover, amirite?

  9. Ashland Avenue Says:

I wonder how Annie Leibovitz feels about her work being so heavily manipulated – at some point (and I certainly think this “photograph” reaches it), it ceases to be a photograph and becomes basic CGI. The photograph Leibovitz took is long gone. In which case, why the need for a talented photographer anyway? To stroke Bruce’s ego?

One other thing – there is no way that that is his hair. He simply does not have enough hair for that style; it’s either a wig, massive amounts of extensions, or just cut & pasted in. Aren’t we all glad that Bruce has the “courage” to reveal his “true self”?

    • Oceans Says:

Funny how much it takes to be “true” and “authentic.”

So much surgery, medication, make up, wigs, lighting effects, posing, costuming, props, etc, etc.

  10. GallusMag Says:

I think the important question here is: What do you call the opposite of a “Fluffer”?

    A “Gaffer”? LOL*

*that’s right folks, industry insider jokes, only here on GenderTrender.

    • LQ Says:

HI-LAR-IOUS! Thanks for an injection of humor where I could previously only find silicone and botox.

    • Jane (the first) Says:

He needs to up his tucking game.

Even with all that photoshop they couldn’t make his eyes look not crazy.

      From some bullshit article:

He feels life as a woman is primarily a matter of mental state and lifestyle.

The lifestyle of “girl parties” where you all sit around and talk about hair and makeup, like all women do, of course. What a joke. Real women know better, of course.

      • kesher Says:

He’s going to be stuck hanging out with MTT friends because I can’t imagine any born woman, even one who loves feminine gender performance, who wants to discuss such matters with a 65-year-old.

      • Livvie Says:

Exactly. Hair, makeup, and dresses. What all women think about 24/7.

I keep thinking I’m in some sort of nightmare and people are finally going to wake up and see this for what it really is, and no one’s doing it, and I feel terrified.

  11. stchauvinism Says:

Reblogged this on Stop Trans Chauvinism.

  12. Kitty Barber Says:

There’s even airbrushing (or whatever it is in digital) on his crotch. ‘Splain that one to me, somebody, if you know about these… things.

    • Siobhan Says:

In the video showing them taking this shot, his dick is pretty evident tucked up along the side of the bathing suit. My guess is that they had to do some pretty serious photoshopping to remove that.

      • Livvie Says:

And in that video he reads very, very clearly as ‘pig in wig’. This photo was a real masterpiece for some unknown Photoshop laborer.

  13. Tiki tiki tavi Says:

All my friends are commenting on how beautiful he is
I just see this as the last gasp of the transgender fad

    • ephemeroptera Says:

Publicity around Jenner really does seem to have brought out radfem thought in people not apparently plugged in to the conversations (e.g. this great column from National Catholic Reporter published online Aug. 12th, but appearing in the print issue from the 2nd half of this month):

Though I’ve seen advocacy for complete inclusion of women in the Roman Catholic church b/c NCR is run by progressives, I’d never seen any radfem thought there before until this column.

      My favorite line:

“We are told Jenner underwent a 10-hour facial feminization surgery. Ten hours. Ten hours to risk cardiac arrest and stroke and hemorrhage and antibiotic resistant infections and all the other risks associated with surgery, surgical anesthesia and hospitalization. Ten hours for ‘fuller cheeks and a thinner nose.’

“If I am going to undergo 10 hours of surgery, I expect to wake up separated from my conjoined twin.”

  14. Derrick Jensen Says:

I’m really tired of how relentlessly yahoo and other parts of the mainstream media push a trans agenda. Not infrequently out of 90 featured stories on Yahoo, three of them will be promoting a trans agenda. On the other hand, there might be 1 story every several weeks opposing rape culture. Or going another direction, I have never seen a single yahoo article about, say, Crohn’s Disease, or MS. There are more news articles promoting a trans agenda than there are articles about global warming, or mass extinction, or genocide against American Indians, or, as I said, rape culture. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a yahoo article opposing pornography.

Today I saw two different articles on Yahoo just about Jenner, and then my mom said that both of the national news channels she gets here featured how brave and wonderful Jenner is. It’s completely relentless.

The comments I saw on Yahoo were probably 98 percent opposed to Jenner. Most along the lines of, “No matter what he’s wearing, he’s a man.”

    • LQ Says:

This has been the case for at least the past year. The Guardian should just change their name to All Trans All The Time. They moderate the shit out of the comments to appear 100% positive and in support.

    • KgSch Says:

It is ridiculous. I’m glad that most people seem to realize that no matter what, men cannot be women. I think my dad doesn’t buy it, but my mom seems to feel a need to fawn over these people for being “born in the wrong body”. I say they’re no such thing when it’s obvious that these men act more male than your average men by refusing to take no for an answer. Their behavior toward women who don’t buy their bs says all you need to know. And none of these dudes are intersex. They appropriate the medical condition of intersex people, like how they appropriate the identities of women and lesbians, but no one cares because fucked up males with a sexual fetish are considered more important than lesbians/women and intersex people.

Yet another reason why I want Big Gay Inc. to just drop the “L” from their acronym. We didn’t agree to be included with our oppressors in the first place, and if it wasn’t obvious that they didn’t care about lesbians before and never had, it should be obvious now with them all trying to boycott Michfest in favor of male terrorists.

I haven’t seen a story about MS outside of the Discovery Health and Fit channel in a long time. As for Crohn’s Disease, I only see ads about it when they’re marketing some new drug for it. Most news about global warming I’ve seen has been from reading scientific journals about it, but those aren’t accessible to everyone. Oh, and you’re in violation of Arizona state law by mentioning genocide against Native Americans. White people history only!

    • Dogtowner Says:

But, Derrick, you know trans is the perfect story for the very weird world we humans have created. Reality doesn’t exist — so messy and unpleasant — whatever is in your head is realer than real, and everything can be accomplished with consumer capitalism!! (Including, hopefully, the end of the human species.)

    • Derrick Jensen Says:

Today yahoo has EIGHT out of 85 featured stories about pushing a trans agenda. None on starvation worldwide. None on the collapse of the oceans. None on rape culture. None on corporate control of the media. None on wars anywhere in the world. EIGHT. We know what is most important to them.

  15. Mormo Says:

She fucked up his right shoulder, it’s all jagged at the top. The arms in general just look jarring when compared to how smooth and airbrushed over his legs and face are. The wavy locks of hair also look shopped. Phoney-baloney

  16. Lint Says:

LOLing at Brucie coyly hiding his massive MAN HANDS behind his back. Nice try buddy!

    • morag99 Says:

This immediately brings to my mind this infamous (last?) cover-photo of Gia Carangi:

They say this particular arms-behind-the-back pose was to hide her track marks. Don’t know if that’s true, but it IS true that these fashionable, glamorous, sexy photographs of women are a hotbed of LIES, designed to cover-up all kinds of female tragedies: abuse, exploitation, illness, addiction, eating disorders, etc.

Except for the fact that Bruce is man, and a rich and powerful one at that — not vulnerable at all — this photo is not unique in its corruption. It just carries on the tradition of telling male-created lies, lies, lies about what girls and women are.

      • Zemskull Says:

The behind-the-arms look also boosts cleavage and hides hairy arms.

      • neme Says:

The painfully hunched shoulders are also an attempt to make them look less broad and male. That’s a part of male bone structure the surgeons can’t just break off or file down. Not if the guy wants to keep his arms.

    • Dogtowner Says:

You know those aren’t hands but baseball mitts.

  17. Lint Says:

BTW, did anyone catch CNN’s fawning coverage of this trainwreck?

The always disgusting and forever smirking Zoey Tur (what is it with these names!) was prattling on about how ol’ Brucie is product and that this is all an exquisitely timed roll out… looks like even a broken clock…

At any rate, Mr Tur seemed quite put out and very irritated at the amount of excitement and media coverage Bruce is getting. He went on to yap about how transitioning should be an intensely private time– hilarious when you consider what narcissistic goons these men are and this all about being in people’s faces and spaces. I guess Mr. Tur was so pea green with envy he couldn’t think straight.

      • Lint Says:

Ah I wish I could find some clips because it was very amusing to watch Mr Tur squirm in discomfort as the spotlight was directed on someone else. I have no idea if he was trying to deliberately trot out the catty female trope in a bid to appear more feminine or if this is just what happens when two narcissists collide.

    • LQ Says:

Oh, I’m sure the laydee claws are OUT and ready to dig into his plasticene flesh! The not as wealthy, white, male, republican autogynephile set will be totes jellz that Bruce is getting such fawning treatment. I wish someone was upset that he was saying such nasty things about his ex-wife and their recent break up or that, ya know, he recently killed a woman. (Checks sky for bolt of lightning. Never considered possibility of feeling sympathetic towards Kris Jenner).

      • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

I think if I was Kris Jenner, I would be in deep deep mourning, I mean private I-don’t-want-to-see-anyone dark room lie there paralyzed mourning. She was married to him, they had a life together. They had children together. They took marriage vows. She is no different when you get down to it, than the other women whose husbands transition. Just a shit ton of money and the public eye.

    • Mormo Says:

uh oh sounds like this Zoey grrrrl is jealous. Is it a cat-fight or a cock-fight? The only sentiment I share is that I too am irritated by of The Bruce Jenner media coverage. though watching major news outlets clumsily handle this story is pretty funny, you can tell they’re walking on eggshells. And all of these supportive tweets are hilariously patronizing, “Good job Bruce yer so brave 🙂 <3" " you look flawless! Grrrrrl" no one talks that way to an actual 65 year old woman. It's all so fake and forced, just like Bruce's embarrassingly senual photos. But hey media outlets know trans shit rakes in views so they'll do anything to pander to pop culture obsessed brain dead millennials.

      • K Says:

Hey now, not everyone born after the Seventies buys into this delusion. For instance, Bruce chose /my/ given name as his new transdentity. I was born in 1992; a man fifty years my senior should not be prancing around with that name.

      • Mormo Says:

@K haha don’t worry I’m a millennial too 😛 and I’m sorry for the loss of your name.

      • KgSch Says:

I was born in 1989 and I definitely don’t buy it either. You are right that a lot of younger people do, but there are plenty of older women, including older lesbians who have sold out to the trans cult. (I just tell women that it’s a waste of time to pity men.)

      • Dogtowner Says:

Mormo, it’s your right as a millennial to say such things. Just as I can talk about pop culture obsessed brain dead baby boomers.

    • kesher Says:

Presumably Zoey can’t afford such world class plastic surgery and is green with envy at Bruce’s appearance. Bruce still has that uncanny valley look, but I still credit the surgeon with feminizing him without making him look like Joyce Wildenstein.

      • Stop Surgical Abuse Says:

Jenner doesn’t really look like that. The photo is extensively photoshopped to make all the angles feminine, the skin smooth, etc. You can see recent paparazzi photos online where he looks terrible.

      • kesher Says:

I know, but he still looks like less of a wreck than Tur.

  18. I'm No Cissie Says:

The face makeup looks like a rubber mask. I don’t know if that’s due to photoshop or it was just some heavy duty theatrical foundation or maybe it IS a rubber mask.

Because I don’t think there is enough plastic surgery or peels or botox to turn this into what we see on that cover:

    • Susan Nunes Says:

If you watch the video on the Vanity Fair site where he talks about his photo shoot, it’s very clear he is nowhere close to “passing” as a woman. That cover photo has been heavily, heavily photoshopped.

      • Siobhan Says:

Also, the number of people attaching the false eyelashes and hair extensions, applying makeup and various products, and just tweaking and taping him was astounding.

Even with all those layers, if you look at the brief shot of them doing the cover photo shot in the video, and compare it to the resulting cover photo, the difference is enormous, especially in the pelvic area (no surprise). In the video, he has man hips, a visible dick, and an obviously male shape and look. He still looks like the guy on the Wheaties box. The photoshopped image shortened his hip area significantly, added a lot of shape, softened his man arms and shoulders, pinched in his waist, did stuff to his hair and face, etc.

      • neme Says:

        Ick. He didn’t even tuck.

    • Zemskull Says:

@I’m No Cissie Bruce looks like a middle-age Peppermint Patty in that photo.

    • Livvie Says:

Precisely. You cannot make that into what is on the cover of VF. There is so much photoshopping going on in there that it’s unreal.

I saw an animated .gif on tumblr today that showed Bruce’s supposedly flawless transition and believe me, in between the last two images there was a world of difference. I’m going to look for the link now. I felt like saying, um, am I the only one who sees Photoshop here, writ large? Don’t you kids use this all the time yourselves, being tumblr users and therefore extremely image savvy?

Today feels like the longest day of my life. It’s everywhere, and you can’t turn away from it because someone else is shouting at you to go along with the groupthink about how gorgeous Brucie is. A cold day in hell.

I was really sad to see that Christine Benvenuto wrote for them. It’s like, can’t you see what side of things they’re on? How is it not obvious?

    • Dogtowner Says:

And one reply was: Totally Excellent Radical Feminist?

  20. GallusMag Says:

*Private message: So sorry to hear you are ill. Thank you for sending me your kind message. I’m sending out a prayer for your wellness and strength. ❤

  21. Note how trans activists and their allies celebrate a homophobic, conservative, rich, white, republican male.

    • kfb3 Says:

That’s what kills me too! How come no one has pointed out the irony that he’s won the Arthur Ashe award, when he was giving money to republicans like Regan who didn’t give a flying fig about people with AIDS or African Americans????

  22. Em Says:

Leaving aside the question whether he looks good or bad, actual women have to be Natalie Portman class for Vanity Fair to present them as “glamorous.” Bruce ain’t even close.

  23. Mortadella Says:

He’s tucking, yeah? No bottom surgery? He’s practically clutching his thigh together.

I dunno. Um, I think it’s another promotional campaign endorsing the fuckability of elderly men. Usually we get that in the form of an over 60 actor being coupled up with an actress young enough to be his granddaughter. This is another form of the same shit. A senior man is as fuckable as the usual 20-somethings women you see on the cover of glossy mags. That’s the message, isn’t it? Male ego directed this particular event. Look at how fuckable he is, ladies and gentlemen. Isn’t that what the image is trying to say? Men get hard at the idea of a senior dude being considered doable. Whenever someone compliments Sean Connery’s looks, a dude gets a boner. He’s a sex symbol for men who are afraid of getting older.

Unrelated. Is anyone else here surprised celebrity men haven’t tried dating fetal tissue yet? I am.

    • morag99 Says:

“He’s tucking, yeah? No bottom surgery? He’s practically clutching his thigh together.”

Did you notice that Gallus created a new tag? “First tuck.” Ha!

    • morag99 Says:

“Is anyone else here surprised celebrity men haven’t tried dating fetal tissue yet? I am.”

Well, a lot of men have already staked a claim to fetal tissue, haven’t they? In the arenas of reproductive rights, forced breeding, arranged marriages, childhood sexual abuse, etc. Supply and demand. “Dating” is related to all those patriarchal horrors, so, in a certain way, it’s already happening.

  24. I think this is seriously discriminatory. Here they are putting a 66 year old man in a very sexualized Vogue cover. The last covers of Vogue with women approaching this age, Meryl Streep and Tina Turner, looked like they were dressed for Church at the White House. A man is a woman for a minute and is given much different treatment. By a women’s magazine. Why? Male privilege travels with you even after a sex change?

  25. Zemskull Says:

“Caitlyn” looks drastically different from Bruce. I don’t know how much of the change can be credited to Photoshop or Pfizer. I doubt that the photographer or Bruce are going to admit to how many hours of make-up and shooting this cover shot took to attain, but I’m suspecting it’s a high number.

Hollywood is predictably in support, but it will be interesting as to whether America at large will regard such an apparent mass aesthetic transformation unsettling, or as evidence that a man can become a woman.

    • I think unsettling because it’s not just the transformation. It’s the narcisstic rage, the denying of biological facts, the ridicolous demands and rules and so on. How long are people going to support this?

    • Zemskull Says:

I suppose there will be differences as to whether most men support this, but I don’t think all men will. I believe some men, simply for selfish reasons, really don’t wish to be with a transgender sexually, and fear being “fooled” by one. Also, there are some men–perhaps not a lot–who do dislike the encroachment this represents. Or, they simply believe that, scientifically or socially, that a man cannot become a woman.

      • Livvie Says:

What’s interesting to me is that after talking with a group of people, most of the guys I know, including my husband, are saying that Bruce is not a woman, and for them, it is a scientific issue, as you say, Zemskull. My husband reads this site pretty voraciously since I showed it to him, so he understands more than most, but I do believe that there are run of the mill guys for whom this doesn’t make a lick of sense. “Woman” does not equal “cock and balls”. That’s a simple equation for them.

My female friends are mostly women who gradually morphed into members of the porn-pozzie wave of feminism, and so they are cheering and rah-rah-ing all over the place. It feels off to me, since we’re all seventies kids and most of my friends didn’t exactly come from that kind of background, but I think the media brainwash is hitting women particularly hard right now. “Play along or else” is the strong message, I think.

That cover irks me, because it’s a command being issued. Well, I’m not listening.

Did anyone see Jon Stewart on the Daily Show talking about this? I had the strangest feeling that he thought this was all kind of bullshit too, or perhaps I’m just projecting my hopes onto him. The graphics artists used the original print cover for “Brave New World” morphed into “Brave New Girl”, which seemed like a semi-intentional dig. I don’t know.

      • Susan Nunes Says:

I believe very, very, very few men support this garbage, probably fewer men than women since women tend to be suckers for supporting outcasts. I doubt there are many men who would ever knowingly have sex with a trans; it’s probably a fate worse than death to them.

      • GallusMag Says:

“Tranny Porn” seems to be very popular and it certainly isn’t women buying that.

      • kesher Says:

Jon Stewart very much buys into the “trans women are beautiful, perfect laydees who can do no harm.” The most recent segment proposed the laughably naive idea that Bruce doesn’t desperately want to be sexually objectified. Stewart also did a segment a few months ago where he demonized conservatives for warning about johnny-come-lately “trans women” who would use gender protection laws to gain access to women’s spaces. He clearly buys into the trans cult’s lies that no predator would ever do such a thing.

I wouldn’t consider him an ally. He obviously falls into the “males who identify as women are pathetic and therefore harmless” camp.

      • Derrick Jensen Says:

Jon Stewart is completely horrible on this issue. I’ve been increasingly disgusted by him lately, and the final straw for me was the program about Bruce Jenner. Earlier on the program he repeatedly led the audience in a chant that said “Learning curves are for pussies.” It doesn’t matter to this what “learning curves” was about: it’s the use of pussy as an insult. Again and again and again. I was not particularly politicized as a teennager (40 years ago), but even then I would not have allowed my friends to disrespect women by using that word like that.

      • LC Says:

I used to have great respect for Jon Stewart, but his obeisance to the trans cult has made me glad he’s going off the air. His nauseating take on the Bruce Gender interview and how ‘sincere’ and ‘brave’ he is and anyone who even questions this is a dick- male worshiping male bullshit. I can forgive libfems who are doing this out of fear or the desire to be compassionate(to men), but 10 years from now when this blows up, I hope Stewart and those like him have the decency to keep their mouths shut, cause I couldn’t stomach listening to some phony backtracking apology about what a misunderstanding it all was. If they cared, they’d do the research.

The Nightly Show is even worse, with a guest last night fawning about how obviously Bruce was sincere if he was willing to cut off his penis! Cause it’s all about the penis, but not enough concern for women to bother finding out the existence of said penis. They love playing mouthpiece for trans propaganda, and Stewart’s faux concern about the media sexualization of Bruce? Bruce fucking put himself in that sexualized pose, actual women are mocked for being fully clothed. But it is, of course, all about the penis.

      • Dogtowner Says:

I got disgusted by Jon Stewart when he was yakking in DC — some liberal demonstration or other — and putting down Marxism (rah, rah, capitalism!). He is an ignoramous and it doesn’t surprise me in the least that he’s disrespectful of women.

  26. lin Says:

I read that his facial feminization surgery took 10 hours, double what it had been estimated, and he had a panic attack when he saw himself.

    • GallusMag Says:

Apparently he had extensive facial reconstructive and breast implant surgery scheduled immediately following the Diane Sawyer interview taping. The works. Everything but his dick and balls.

    • pandoracurioser Says:

just think for a second how stupid and self destructive one has to be to agree to change his face to appear more like something you literally cannot be. It’s literally his face! you only have one of those per life.

    • If he had a panic attack – how long until he regrets what he has done? It’s never good to rush with such intense surgeries. The euphoria will disappear and then??

    • Elle Says:

      According to one article:

The Vanity Fair story reveals that shortly after Jenner’s facial surgeries, the former decathlon champ experienced a moment of sheer panic thinking, “What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?”

A counselor from the Los Angeles Gender Center went to Jenner’s home to help. The counselor explained it’s common for people to have those types of reactions following a transition surgery, and the emotions are often brought on by the strong pain medications.

      • Zemskull Says:

Regarding the facial surgeries, I find it interesting that when a born-woman has obviously has just one cosmetic procedure–even something as simple and temporary as Botox–a number of people will call her “fake,” “shallow” or “not accepting who she is.” Ditto with women who obviously wear a lot of of make-up. Yet when an MTT has a dozen “feminizing” aesthetic surgeries, some of those same people will congratulate him for “being true” to himself. That doesn’t even account for the numerous other medications and other medical procedures that an MTT may utilize.

      • Dogtowner Says:

I’ve had strong pain medications, and the last thing they induce is panic. Dilaudid, aka hospital heroin, axes all panic. I would guess the removal of IV pain meds and then seeing your grotesque face in a mirror might induce panic.

      • GallusMag Says:

They gave him what he wanted: a youngish female face that looks nothing like Bruce and doesn’t fit his aging male body.

      • Livvie Says:

Directly after? He flipped out immediately? Oh god, this is rich. I’m sorry, but that’s the one thing that made me laugh today.

      • kesher Says:

I love that the trans treatment protocols have therapists on hand to help *after* the self-mutilation but not before. A+++ medical ethics there.

      • By the way aren’t facial surgeries kinda dangerous? Especially if it’s on such a massive scale like ol’ Bruce has?
I wonder how many nerves are now damaged beyond repair.

All this for living the life of not only a woman but a completely DIFFERENT person. “Caitlyn” is has an entirely different personality than “Bruce” according to him. How long can he do that? He is acting at this point.

If he had a breakdown immeditately after the surgery the next is just waiting around the corner.

      • Pf Says:

I had a breast reduction done ages ago, and my surgeon told me back then that I was never going to have a “normal” body ever again. There WOULD be scarring, areas with no sensation, and that the shape would possibly be different, etc. She also warned me that there are people who keep getting surgery because they’re trying to fix something surgery can’t fix, and that those patients are bad risks.

      • Leo Says:

The possibility of nerve damage is something I’m still horrified isn’t taken more seriously, particularly in what is after all cosmetic surgery (and that would still be true even if any ‘female brain’ claims were true -not that I buy that, of course-, the surgery would still be cosmetic). Nerve issues can be absolutely unbearably painful and uncomfortable, and potentially disfiguring. Facial cosmetic surgery can cause such problems, looking it up just now I even read of one suicide due to the pain following botched cosmetic surgery. Knowing how intolerable nerve damage can be personally, that saddens but does not surprise me. Why isn’t that seen as important and a significant risk, given how fast transativists are to claim that without SRS transpeople will commit suicide, and how it’s presented as essential for quality of life? This is surgery, it’s not something trivial. Come to think of it, it’s kind of weird there haven’t been a lot of lawsuits already, or have there? We’ve seen it’s far from risk free (thanks to Gallus for the reportage on potential risks and case studies, btw).

Ketamine might possibly cause anxiety or generally feeling a bit trippy, but can’t think off the top of my head of any other meds that might be given that would case that, and anyway it does sound more like Jenner’s initial panic was psychological. The medical ethics really are shockingly lax, unbelievably casual to just go ‘oh well, people often freak out when they first see themselves’. Ya think? Geez, I wonder why that might be… Wonder if Jenner will end up regretting this, his perspective on it just isn’t sounding that well-adjusted with how he’s talking of Caitlyn like a separate person.

jenner killed someone less than 6 months ago but you’d never know it from this media circus. If kris or kim or one of the other kardashian WOMEN had killed someone because they were too busy texting to pay attention to the road, i guarantee the media would mention it in every single article about them. It would cast a shadow over everything they did then onwards, and probably ruin the family’s “brand”.

we all know femulation absolves men of their sins: “bruce made some mistakes as a father, but now i’m catelyn i can finally have a real relationship with my children”. Apparently it also absolves them of manslaughter too, in public and media opinion.

RIP Kim Howe, animal rights activist and actual woman. It’s a shame the media forgot about your death so quickly.

All four of his children refused a huge payday and declined to appear on his “reality” show.

      • lestoille Says:

Bissinger writes: … Despite numerous entreaties from their father as well as the head of E! programming, the Jenner children refuse to participate, forgoing financial gain and exposure in the process. At first their decision did not seem to register with Caitlyn. She kept hoping they could be persuaded because she knows from eight years on Keeping Up with the Kardashians the necessity of a family dynamic for ratings success. When she realized the decision was final, she became increasingly frustrated and on one occasion hurled profanities. She told me she felt “terribly disappointed and terribly hurt.”‘

Yeah see, he knows he has to push a “family dynamic” in order to get the ratings. because that’s what it’s all about for this asshole. Ratings and public approval, and the ensuing paycheck.

and when his semi-estranged kids refused, it “did not seem to register with [him]”, because how can a poor autogynephile be expected to empathize with anything aside from his penis?

and when he realized his children wouldn’t give in to his histrionics, he “hurled profanities”, because a tranny temper tantrum is the only reasonable response when people don’t do what you want them to do.

Bravo to the jenner kids, for standing up to their deadbeat-father dickhead.

      • Livvie Says:

How’s that going to work? Caitlyn being a better person than Bruce, I mean. Did he get a brain transplant when they shaved his face?

What an asshole. I feel so sorry for his children. Narcissists are evil, ugly people.

      • KgSch Says:

I feel sorry for his children, his step-children, and all the women he was married to who had to put up with his narcissistic bullshit. Bruce Jenner was a deadbeat dad and his children sure as hell don’t owe him anything for abandoning him. But, getting plastic surgery and claiming to be a woman is apparently now “create-a-whole-new-person-who-isn’t-a-deadbeat surgery.”

And of course he threw a fit and started cursing when his kids said no. Like I have said before, men pretending to be women can’t take no for an answer because they are in a constant rapist mentality.

My parents are divorced, but they were/are both always around and didn’t ditch any of our graduations. I can’t imagine how hard it is to have a father who is rich and famous, but who doesn’t want to spend any time with you or even do the bare, bare minimum and pay child support. Then, long after he became irrelevant he is suddenly a “woman” And plastic surgery makes him into a completely different person! He’s completely authentic and real now with all the artificial pharmaceuticals, plastic surgery, and photoshop. Except not really. He’s the same person, but for some reason a lot people play along and don’t have the guts to say that the emperor has no clothes.

Good for them for refusing to go on the reality show and try to go on with their lives. I definitely support them.

I just wonder when all the various deadbeat men in my family are going to start claiming that they’re really women and somehow magically better people. They might have a harder time convincing anyone though, because most of them can’t afford the clothes, wigs, makeup, and surgery.

      • kesher Says:

Bruce Jenner reminds me a lot of my own father, except for the athlete aspect. My father married young, sponged off his wife while he built up his career, and then, once he achieved significant success, left her for his secretary. My father didn’t threaten suicide to get out of child support, but he did let his first wife’s abusive husband adopt my sisters so he wouldn’t have to pay anything.

He was also a master at hiding assets from his wives during his divorces. He once bragged to me about how a very lucrative stock of his split during his fourth divorce, and his wife’s attorney wasn’t smart enough to notice why the stock suddenly halved in price.

How much Bruce reminds me of my dad is a big reason why I don’t take his transition remotely seriously. Of course he’s a fetishist. He sees women as nothing other than things to be used, and, like all fetishistic “trans women”, he identifies strongly with Republican callousness.

    • GallusMag Says:

“If kris or kim or one of the other kardashian WOMEN had killed someone because they were too busy texting to pay attention to the road”
They would be on death row.

  29. Hannah Says:

“Ugliness” self hatred about said ugliness, really is an exclusively female cultural phenomenon. Yes, there are men who are unfortunate looking, but you really have to be almost deformed in this culture as a male to hate yourself in the way women do.
I once read a comment from a male that said ONLY women can be ugly.
Women’s self hatred is all about being female. Look at the average looking males women put on a pedestal. So of course the disturbing looking male pretending to be a female will go right there on the same pedestal.
    Maleness is always the ideal.

    • MaryMacha Says:

Yep. I think patriarchy is just an equal-opportunity for men to get laid. The standards for men are so, so low and so high for women. Men can be totally average and be valued as actual human beings. Women have to be gorgeous to get any semblance of respect. Yes, semblance, not the real thing. It’s so common to see attractive women with average to ugly men, some with serious shortcomings and bad personality traits.

  30. Hydrochloriawk Says:

I’d like to say gently that while I agree with the general sentiment here that this is a case of autogynephelia, and that the representation of Caitlyn Jenner (if someone wants to be called by a new name… What do I care?) is a completely plastic, unrealistic portrayal of women (And it’s part of the problem that perpetuates body dysmorphia in females), I’m troubled by a lot of the physical dissecting happening here.

I’ve seen a lot of people specifically commenting on certain features Jenner has here and how they could never pass as feminine and I want to caution people. There are all kinds of different women out there of different sizes and shapes and skin tones. Some of them (particularly athletic and big boned women) may actually have physiques not all that different then how Jenner is depicted here! Some have broad angular jaws or small lips or prominent clavicles and sternums. Some have muscular upper bodies or sinewy legs. Those women, too, are real women. Even the ones who people sometimes mistake for male. I guess what I’m saying is be careful- the more specific you try to get about what exactly it is about Jenner that doesn’t pass, the more you may hurt real women silently scrolling through these comments.

There’s no one definition of what it means to be a woman on the inside, sure- but there also happens not to be one definition of what a woman looks like on the outside. I know that images like this erase that reality, but we should take care that our criticisms of images like this don’t go to a hurtful extreme.

As far as women getting hurt by scrolling through the comments, I have big old size 10 1/2 feet. The fact that a 60 year old autogynephile may have similar isn’t causing me pain. Why? Because I’m not masquerading as a woman, and I’m not dependent on enforcing a group delusion for my self esteem.

Concern troll, maybe you should be more concerned about the men and women claiming the surgically created bruce looks better than actual women, including his own family. There are some real issues there. But no, it’s much better to keep up the constant barrage against those of us who think for ourselves and refuse to lie to ourselves that a male can ever, ever be female.

      • anon male Says:

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a bit oblivious, so I usually go “huh” when someone starts up on “manhands” in photographs here because I can’t really see it. I mean, I take everyone’s word for it. Nor does it offend my sense of justice like Concern Troll’s. Maybe it was living with other athletes in college so I knew a lot of women over 6′ tall with hands almost just like mine? (And I’m oblivious so do I even know WHAT my hands really look like to others?) Who knows.

What blows my mind is that all of this Jenner nonsense is going on at the same time that “Dadbods are hot” shit (especially “TEEN GIRLS think dadbods are hot” articles! EWWWW!) is going on, where even Catholics blowhards like Mary E. Williams at Salon thinks that they can ride out on the front lines of the cool gender wave if they just promote Bruce and Aydian hard enough

(I saw the article linked by her in her latest where Laverne is trying to drag the focus off of bruce and back to himself)

As a dude, I can honestly say that Pink makes me want to hit the gym more than that person. Because: DUH.

If only gender affected ALL of us the way that good liberals wanted it to these days?

      • michelle Says:

        @anon male-

I’ve been around plenty of tall female athletes in my time, both at the collegiate level and at the professional level. While some certainly had hands that were bigger than some women, they still had the elements present that made it clear they were NOT man-hands.

Height and weight? Same thing. I’ve been toe-to-toe with REALLY big women (think Alison Bales) and while she was TALL (~6’7″) and BIG (~215lbs) when she played for Duke, there was no doubting that she was female.

There is NO amount of surgery that will hide the fact that Brucie was born a male, socialized as a male, bulked up as a male and will die a male…

I’m just wondering how long before some tranny starts whining that they need cosmetic surgery on their hands to change the size of them and that to deny it is denying them the ability to be ‘who they should be.’

      • Zemskull Says:

@anon male I worked at a major employer whose health insurance paid for all cosmetic surgeries for transgenders, including breast augmentation and hand feminization. Ironically, the same employer’s insurance did not pay for reconstructive surgery for breast cancer of a born-woman.

      While my guitar gently weeps……..

      • Jane (the first) Says:

This Marguerite Duras line always makes me laugh, and it’s even funnier imagined from the perspective of an autogynephile:

You wouldn’t have known her, you’d have seen her everywhere at once, in a hotel, in a street, in a train, in a bar, in a book, in a film, in yourself, your inmost self, when your sex grew erect in the night, seeking somewhere to put itself, somewhere to shed its load of tears.

While his sad ladystick gently weeps…here’s a tissue for your issue, trannies.

    • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

Idiot, none of those athletic and big boned women have big boners, never HAD big boners, and never will.

    • Stop Surgical Abuse Says:

I had feet so big (size 11 wide) I usually wear men’s jogging shoes, but they still look like women’s feet. Know why? Because I’m a woman. My wide hands still look like women’s hands too. Biology matters.

    • endthewoo Says:

Even the ones who people sometimes mistake for male … you may hurt real women silently scrolling through these comments.

What bollocks. There’s loads of women posting here who look nothing like the pornified fantasies that men demand, yes, many of us get mistaken (briefly) as men and I bet none of us are at all offended by the analysis.

    • Dogtowner Says:

There IS one definition of what it means to be a woman on the inside: XX chromosomes and female reproductive organs.

    • Hannah Says:

I’m 180 pounds and 5’9. I was around 150 in high school surrounded by 115 pound petite girls. I have a strong face and a big nose while I ‘m surrounded by button nosed goyim. I am called sir constantly by cashiers(but for some strange reason they’re always men. Never been “misgendered” by a woman. Maybe because other women know what a female looks like? Or maybe they’re just not complete morons?). The only thing I find offensive is that you’re comparing me to a male murderer.
I am 100% woman and it took me a long time to feel like that. There is nothing “masculine” about me. That is nothing but male gaslighting. I feel so sorry for the new generation of little girls who aren’t “feminine” who will read this crap. As if “sex positive” porn culture wasn’t bad enough. A whole new batch of male lies to fuck with our heads before we’re mature enough to actually process and examine them.

      • Pf Says:

I’ve been “misgendered” by a woman (at the gym as I walked into the locker room) and it didn’t take more than me saying “hi” (yes, even with my unusually low for a woman voice) to clear up the confusion.

And here’s the thing, Concern Troll: I don’t blame her. She has a right to feel safe in the locker room when she’s changing. I DO blame assholes like Jenner, though. Because male privilege doesn’t go away with wishing, tucking, or perfect eyeliner.

Because if any woman had killed somebody because they were messing with their phone when driving, nobody would be talking about what a perfect goddess she was less than a year later.

Nor would liberal publications be gushing over a woman who gave Reagan money during the AIDS crisis.

Nor do women rape or murder at anything like the male rate. (And transition makes no difference in rates of criminality for males.)

    • a cat Says:

Ah, c’mon. I’m an ugly bastard (worse looking than he is even before photoshop) but a female ugly bastard. The point being made here is a couple of ops and a lot of Photoshop don’t make you a woman, and the same thing is noted that being a woman who is often mistaken for a man doesn’t make you a man either.

As this kind of photoshoot (as with Laverne Cox etc) is sold as glamour and ideal femininity to actual women, I don’t see how it can be wrong for actual women to critique it.

    • MaryMacha Says:

“There’s no one definition of what it means to be a woman on the inside”

The definition of woman is one who is born with female genitalia and sex organs and usually xx chromosomes.

No one is criticizing real women, just the parodies.

  31. Hannah Says:

I wonder if the Handmaiden’s Empowerment guide(aka Jezebel) will offer 10,000 dolars for the unretouched photos so they can shame and humiliate “her” for “feminism” like they did with Lena Dunham.

  32. liberalsareinsane Says:

All Brucehilda needs is a lady stick in his yap.

  33. Oak and Ash Says:

It’s been years since he was a star athlete; his beautiful daughters and the antics of Kim and the rest of the Kardashian clan have been getting most of the press. Maybe for those aging, autogynephiles who’ve been in the public eye as narcissistic men, transitioning is a desperate (not to mention creepy) attempt to get the spotlight back.

Also, he chose a name with the same initial sound as the names of the other women in his family. I’m only surprised he didn’t spell it Kaitlyn.

    • lestoille Says:

see i’m not surprised at all. i think it was a very deliberate, passive aggressive slight against kris. Look at half the comments at gawker etc – “oooh i bet kris is so mad that he didn’t spell it with a K.”

and she probably is miffed — one of the notable traits of this family “brand” is that all the women have hard C names spelled with a K. i bet anything jenner chose a hard C name and chose to flout the convention in order to insult his ex wife.

some other things i’ve noticed in the mainstream gawker-esque commentariat – all the people relishing the fact that jenner “looks better” than kris, an actual female (and no, he fucking doesn’t). And people gloating over how the ‘caitlyn reveal’ overshadowed kim’s long awaited 2nd pregnancy – the pregnancy of her female womb in her ACTUALLY female body.

The misogyny is just so blatant. it makes me sick.

I feel sorry Jessica Lange. No matter which way you slice it, telling a woman she looks like a 65 year old tranny is insulting.

      • Hannah Says:

At least Kris Jenner didn’t kill an animal right’s activist with a family. Oh. but that was Bruce, not Caitlyyne. Another way for a man to absolve his guilt. How convenient.

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

I’m not really a follower of the Kardashians but I do feel so sorry for Kris Jenner. Not only has she lost years of her life to this user she’s now having people say he’s a better-looking woman and more of a woman than her. It’s sickening and shows society’s contempt for older women.

It’s also very interesting that he equates her earning and controlling her own money with ‘abuse’ and relates how she, supposedly, became less tolerant of him the richer she got. He really doesn’t like women who buck their sex role, does he? I’m guessing if he had been the one earning money then he’d have been more confident in imposing his autogynephila on his family for a long time now.

    • Lulu Says:

I just read that the girlfriend of his son, Brody, is named Kaitlyn.

So, let’s see here. He exposes his big plastic boobs to one son and gives himself the same name as the other son’s girlfriend. How perverted.

  34. GallusMag Says:

“It’s funny, my mother, my mom, she has not met Caitlyn yet. We’ve talked on the phone, she is coming down.

Bissinger: When is she coming down?

Jenner: In about a week and a half, O.K. I’m sending a plane to go pick her up, and my sister, because she’s 89 years old and cannot get on the airlines, but she has to come down and, you know, we have to do this.

Bissinger: You’re sending a plane out?

    Jenner: Yeah.

Bissinger: You’re the cheapest person I ever met, I can’t—

Jenner: I know, but for my mom I’ll send a plane.

Bissinger: Yeah, but you, like, hunt for golf balls and—

Jenner: I know. What I told her: “Isn’t Caitlyn a much better friend?” Bruce, he would never send a plane. No, no, no, what a jerk the guy was, O.K., Caitlyn is like, “Send the plane. Mom, we’re sending a plane, we’re going to go pick you up and bring you down here.”

Jenner: The reaction was absolutely amazing. Even Mark, who is the producer on Diane’s piece, says, “Well, I had breakfast with Reese Witherspoon this morning and she couldn’t stop talking about you. All she wants to do is meet you.” She never wanted to meet Bruce, you know, but Caitlyn it is. It’s just that’s the way people are, and I understand that.

Honestly, since the Diane Sawyer piece, every day it’s like, it’s exciting to go to the mailbox . . . Because I get letters every day from all of these people from all over the world. I’ve gotten a lot from trans women, and telling their story and telling how excited they were to see the Diane piece. And so for non-trans people, just regular people who watched the games and now they see this, they’re just so proud of you.

But I so appreciate those things. I mean, I read every one of them, a lot of them I answer; in fact, the other night I got a letter from a trans woman in New York and she had so many interesting things to say, but at the end she left her telephone number, so I called her.

    Bissinger: Really?

Jenner: I think she was very surprised I called. So I called her because for me, I am, I don’t, I’m new to this community.

Bissinger: You’re much nicer as Caitlyn than you were as Bruce.

Jenner: Bruce never would have called her; but anyway, Caitlyn calls—

Bissinger: He wouldn’t want to pay for it.

Jenner: Yeah, that’s exactly right. And so I thought I need to learn about the people, O.K., and here’s this lady living in New York state, she actually works in an operating room, transitioned 15 years ago, doing very well in her life, but obviously went through hell to get there, and I want to know these stories so I can—I have a platform that’s so large, how can I use that to make this better? And the only way I could do that is to talk to people.

Bissinger: How long were you on the phone?

Jenner: Probably close to 45 minutes, we talked forever. Actually I think I woke her up, because it was East Coast, it was three hours later. I think she was sleeping, and then I woke her up and she kind of was a little groggy, and I told her it was me and I got your letter, and I’d love to talk to you; and boy, she woke right up, and we talked for 45 minutes and she was so interesting.

    • dbrvnk Says:

i notice he still refers to ‘caitlyn’ as a different person to himself, as a ‘persona’ rather than a person. and so do his family/interviewers/handlers

wonder if he hadn’t been a conservative, traditionalist gender conformist type who had to be either a MAN doing MAN THINGS like MUSCLES and PAIN and FIRE, or a ~~~woman~~~ doing ~~~woman things~~~ like ~~~sparkles~~~ and ~~~hearts~~~ and ~~~flowers~~~… as so many conservative family-values type think the world has to be… he would’ve just been a perfectly happy drag queen and none of this surgery would have been necessary or desirable

      • CKDexterHaven Says:

Frank Maloney does exactly the same thing. It’s ‘Frank’ or ‘Kellie’, like he’s got multiple personalities. He claims that, in becoming ‘Kellie’, he’s become the person that he always was but, at the same time, ascribes his past right-wing, bigoted, homophobia to ‘Frank’. Every time he exhibits aggressive, threatening behaviour (which is a lot) it’s apparently a bit of ‘Frank’ coming out.

      • The referring to self as two different people, particularly in the case of rich white males and their laydee personae, is interesting. Firstly, it blows out of the water that their laydee-self was always ‘on the inside’ (trans narrative), but in the case of privileged dudes, it serves another purpose.

At any time in the future, when they want to call on their man privilege (or male intimidation), they can, then immediately afterwards blame it on the old Bruce/Frank ‘coming [back] out’. It’s a built-in ‘get out of jail free’ card, as well as keeping their male privilege intact (and their laydee sticks, obvs).

Remember back in the 80s, the talk shows were full of people claiming multiple personalities? Many of them got locked up in mental institutions, and a fair few were fakers to get onto talk shows. Same shit, different decade.

But at least with this one, it shows the laydee brain (supposedly a 100% laydee brain that needs body mods to match this 100% laydee brain) is totally bogus, particularly when there is some old white rich male brain that is periodically ‘returning’. I just can’t believe people are falling for this.

  35. “Jenner: Bruce never would have called her; but anyway, Caitlyn calls—”

Typical autogynephile. He makes a difference between “Bruce” and Caitlyn. For him these are 2 different people. Caitlyn is the woman he created in his fantasies.

  36. Atranswidow Says:

Mmmm….where have I heard that before?

”I just love helping people”…..oh yes, my ex.

I used to tell my friend that I was being ”niced” to death. He made such a big thing about it. You can’t disagree with ”nice” people, because that makes you the biggest, baddest, meany. So mean and nasty that it’s no wonder you’re upset and crying all over the place. Your own fault for being mean.

It’s a super-controlling form of gas-lighting. Thinking about it just puts my stomach into knots.

    • morag99 Says:

How awful, Atranswidow. Gas-lighting is assault, a sustained attack, and probably a hidden killer of many women. No wonder so many women go along to get along, and learn not to hang on too tightly to truth and reality: it’s a form of harm-reduction to not fight back against aggressors.

    • Relieved Says:

Been there with narcissistic parents who were absolute monsters that hid behind Christianity and good deeds. My stepdad was the classic Christian perv – screamed Jesus as loud as possible, forced the family to go to church four days a week and had a Promise Keepers bumper sticker that said “I love my wife” while he was banging several other women. When caught he claimed “sex addiction” and made himself the victim.

Every time my parents did something abhorrent or abusive, the extended family made it about how horrible you were for “accusing” such nice people that help (er, control) everyone of anything. It’s a tyranny of nice, and it isn’t nice at all. Like you said, it’s deliberate gaslighting and it’s crazy making for those of us who see the hypocrisy.

  37. puzzled Says:

No comments on the body. He’s a grownup, whatever.

I have to report with a smile, though, that my nearly 17 year old would-be FTM had to take a break from watching her “RuPaul’s Drag Race” marathon yesterday to ask me if I’d seen the Vanity Fair pix. I told her yes. And her comment was, “Jeez, that other show was not very long ago, what happened to the whole mental health piece? Isn’t there supposed to be a mental health piece?”

So even she, an impulsive teen, has internalized the notion that ppl should really be having some period of attempting life as the non-natal sex before surgeries.

I said, “yeah, theoretically this is what is supposed to happen before such a big decision.” And then just commented that he was just in a big car accident and someone died, and if that had been me, I think I’d still be trying to process all that and not be on the cover of Vanity Fair.

She just rolled her eyes and said: “I think he is going to regret some of this.”

And then we went on to talk of other things.

    This conversation made me smile.

    • Mormo Says:

That was my exact same reaction. I was like “Gee that was fast” I’m willing to bet, his decision was partially influenced by media pressure. but seriously what happened to all the rigamarole you have to go through? Ignoring the logic of treating a mental disorder with surgery if this Bruce Jenners debacle highlights anything, it’s that you can manipulate an already flawed system if you have the cash.

I’m hoping that the one good that comes out of this current trans obsession is that more and more people start to see how wrong and illogical it is.

      • neme Says:

In the Sawyer interview he stressed that he hasn’t done therapy. Then a few minutes later bragged that he has ALL the required therapists letters to go ahead with surgery.

In and out, letters written and signed, for enough money. Those fraud therapists best save that money. Brucilla seems the type to sue when the regret comes on.

      • kesher Says:

Gatekeeping doesn’t exist for men who have the cash. Only the saps who have to rely on socialized medicine or insurance have to wait, and, of course, trans activists are doing whatever they can to remove those obstructions.

      • Relieved Says:

Rich people do not have to explain themselves to doctors in the way that poor people do. I have seen several rich people walk out of Drs offices with scripts for drugs like Oxy or Adderall without the slightest of concern, while poor women can’t even get basic pain meds for established pain conditions when needed because of concerns over drug addiction.

Hell, one wealthy women I know was given a script for Adderall because she is very rich and “doesn’t like to gain weight”. There is a massive double standard class-wise in medicine, and one only need to speak with a few people to see it.

  38. So naturally all the gay blogs and writers are reacting to the cover and the photo shoot by calling it “beautiful.” But of course it is: It’s Annie F’ing Liebovitz for crying out loud.

But one has to wonder if there would be all this fawning had the photographer been Terry Richardson.

  41. Bob Doublin Says:

Sorry if someone has phrased it this way already

It really hit me this morning that for Bruce Jenner, the girls, young women, and women he has dated or married in his life and his children, male and female, have never existed as people there for him to love, but rather merely as props to prove to the world, HE IS NOT A FAG!! (shouting caps intended)

Anyone remember Patricia Nell Warren’s novel The Front Runner? I wonder if she modeled the title character on Bruce Jenner. In the late 70’s,I had a a crush on him and always thought he was gay. That clip from the movie Can’t Stop the Music seemed so unlike acting on his part,at least the flyer aspects.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

The spilled lasagna scene in “Can’t Stop the Music” might have been symbolic of Bruce’s life. However, he could never compete with Valerie Perrine, in this life or in the next.

  42. Jane (the first) Says:

Jenner’s a scumbag who thinks transition and a half-assed mea culpa for being a shitty human being clear the way for him to receive the round-the-clock adoration he deserves. Many of the liberal men praising Jenner are saying how hot he is. Thanks for making it so obvious that you consider attractiveness the measure of female value:

Men created this ridiculous, pornsick fantasy of femininity that has nothing to do with most women’s lives. Now some of the big crybabies feel unfairly excluded from the public, glamorous side of the lie they created. Trannies like Jenner don’t demand access to care work or underpaid feminized labor because they don’t do any. They’re only interested in the hypersexualized illusion. They want to act out their fetish in the spotlight while women praise their courage and keep doing all the unappreciated shit work behind the scenes. Just like always. The balls on some people, huh?

Trannies can have all the modeling, all the beauty pageants, and most importantly all the porn and prostitution. Every bit of it. Leave real women alone to contribute to society as we always have. Most of us realize we still exist even if we aren’t famous and having smoke blown up our asses constantly.

One of my favorite things about this website is that anything you write here will be seen by every transentryist in the world. We see through your victim act and will never give you the adoration you demand. I have a no-validation policy, and I’m sticking to it. I don’t praise the spider that gets caught in its own web.

    • branjor Says:

If liberal men think Jenner is so hot, let’s see them date him. Or is “she” a lesbian and *we’re* expected to date him? UGH, never. Or maybe some straight woman who enjoys slumming as a “lesbian” will date him. Little Jazzy Jennings is in shock over his “no dates” status.

      • kesher Says:

One thing I agree with the trans cult on is their insistence that, if you’re not willing to sleep with a trans woman if you’re a lesbian or straight man or a trans man if you’re a straight woman or gay man, then you don’t, in fact, think they’re real women and real men.

Where I part ways, though, is their insistence that they’re real women/men and that anyone else is obligated to demonstrate belief in that fiction.

      • Laverne Cox also complained about unwilling men. Time to make a cotton boxers workshop.

      • kesher Says:

Cox was complaining about his boyfriend being embarrassed to be seen in public with him, which is a fair criticism in my opinion. If someone is good enough to have sex with, they should be good enough to be seen in public with. That said, there are many real women in the world who are deemed too “ugly” or too “trashy” to be good enough to date.

      • GallusMag Says:

It’s a little different if you’re dating someone who is pursuing fame. His boyfriend may prefer his privacy.

      • Zemskull Says:

When I was in college, there was a black man who accused white women who wouldn’t sleep with him of being racist. It worked quite well for him, from what I witnessed. So now we have white men with a new way to accuse women of bigotry if they don’t comply with sexual demands. Some things never change!

  43. Jane (the first) Says:

Also, to paraphrase The Lesbian Mafia:

I’ll stop saying trannies when trannies stop calling women fishes, bitches and cunts. Not to mention TERFs.

I refrain from using the word if site owners request it, but appreciate Gallus for allowing me to let it all hang out here. 🙂

  44. endlessleeper Says:

this cover literally nauseates me. is it the fact that it’s charged with whopping amounts of misogyny and looks like a warning/standard (same thing) for women or just the simple fact that at a pure visual level, it looks horrendously unnatural? i don’t like thinking about it. jesus fucking christ this is disgusting. i never thought i’d feel genuine sympathy for any kardashians, but here we are. first he steals their clothing and now this? they’re the heroes, not him! lena dunham creates a tv show and prances around in her underwear and she’s The Ultimate Oppressor (TM) but autojennerphile fetishizes his own daughters and kills a woman with his car and is suddenly a brave tranny hero? this is actually the state of things. ten years ago this wouldn’t be an issue.
it is a very bad time to be a woman.
as an aside, the political implications of this cover are probably deliberate which just makes it worse. this is designed to appeal to us. women are targeted by this fucking atrocity and we are supposed to sympathize with his “plight” of being a rich powerful white male and aim for his standard of living which we will never have. cool.
if any of us–any woman, as a matter of fact, regardless of power– tried this shit, we’d be dead in the water. this charade is an active celebration of a male doing what would literally get women killed by other males.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

You know the Kardashians have gone through hell. I have never watched the television show, so I don’t have a strong opinion about them. But there is no doubt in my mind this family, and Bruce’s other children from other marriages and his other former wives, have gone through hell. None of them will ever speak out against him. They don’t dare.

What we are seeing in that photo shoot (in the whole damn Jenner horror parade) is an old man’s sex fantasy of being lauded as a beautiful hot young chick. It is repulsive. He is repulsive. “Woman” is just a costume to these men. A sweaty, pornified, wank fantasy.
And I hear that on Twitter a bot has been introduced that “corrects” the “misgendering” of “Caitlyn”… We are living through a dystopian nightmare.

I can’t believe this is real. The photoshopping is so poor, it hurts the eyes. The head and the body don’t even look like they’re from the same photo (maybe they aren’t!), and you can even see the airbrush strokes around the edges of his hair. This is not what I expect to see from a professional publication.

I know that isn’t really the most disgusting thing about this, but the photoshopping… it’s so bad, man…

    • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

It’s a secret message from the photographer. Pssst…in the prophetic novel (could it be Mary Shelley put her finger on the squirmy heart of trans all those years ago?), Frankenstein was assembled/collaged from a bunch of parts. Well, so is Caitlynstein, from photoshop, makeup, collagen, surgery, hormones, celebrity status, etc. Don’t think I’m a believer, because I’m not, the photographer is telling us, with that pasted on head. I’m just in it for the money. Or maybe I was inspired by Goya’s portraits of the royal family. Something like that.

  49. Derrick Jensen Says:

Here’s an article in The Spectator (I have no idea what the politics of this mag is in general) called “Call me Caitlyn or else: the rise of authoritarian transgender politics.” It seems the author is coming in a bit late to the authoritarian transgender politics, since I don’t see it as a rise but as a continuation of the authoritarianism you have been correctly describing here for so long. Here is the link, if you are interested:

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

The Spectator is right of centre and supportive of the Tory Party. The New Statesman is its opposite and that, too, has had some trans-critical articles by feminist authors recently. Of course those authors have been harassed and regularly have to close down their blogs and social media accounts. I don’t think this is a right or left issue, it’s just people who can see through the pomo fog.

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

And the writer for The Guardian quoted in the article as saying ‘Bow down, bitches!’ is Paris Lees. You can tell by the utter fucking obnoxious misogyny. I do have to thank Lees for providing my peak-trans moment a few years ago. If it hadn’t been for him I may still have been thinking that, although transwomen were men and transgenderism was sexist, this wasn’t a pressing problem for women. I now realise it’s a massive problem.

      • Jane (the first) Says:

You’ll never catch liberal men policing “women” like Janet “Fish” Mock or Paris Lees for insufficient niceness as they do us. Cruel and cutting remarks toward the female sex class are their prerogative as gay men. You can see they get off on the kapo role liberal men have granted them.

    • KgSch Says:

I was considering getting a disquis thingy to comment on that because I don’t have any of the other accounts.

That twitter thing is just creepy. I don’t consider myself liberal or conservative. My politics are radical lesbian feminism and I support lesbian separatism, and the right of anyone from an oppressed group to be separatist if they want to. I agree with the article and they are right about this being Orwellian. Some people say the internet has made things more open, but think of how many people have censored themselves over this issue because the Bruce-worshiping-bot on Twitter told them too.

If these fucked up men would just leave lesbians/women the hell alone, no one would care if they wanted to spend their money on trashy plastic surgery. But they have to be at the center of attention and force everyone to participate in their sexual fetish.

And I don’t give a flying fuck what OSHA says, if I see a man in the woman’s bathroom I am calling the police. Might as well make them do something useful.

      • WeWillWin Says:

“And I don’t give a flying fuck what OSHA says, if I see a man in the woman’s bathroom I am calling the police. Might as well make them do something useful.”

Call the police. Good idea!! The other day it happened to me. I was coming out of a stall in the ladies room in a 5 star hotel and a man was standing in front of the mirror, as if he was checking his make-up.

At first I was disoriented, thinking that I might have mistakenly went into the menz room. Walking out, I saw that it was the right room and went to look for security.

The interloper was not trans, just a middle aged, well-dressed man.

Security wasn’t around but I told a bellman and he rushed down to the bathroom. The guy was still there and made some excuse about there being a mess in the men’s room. I don’t believe it. If he was desperate and needed to use the ladies, why did he linger and hang around so long powdering his nose?

        Next time I’m dialing 911.

      • Relieved Says:

Thirded on calling the police if there is an obvious man in the restroom. Since they are making these laws that say men are allowed in women’s restrooms just because they say they are women, we women have to police our own spaces.

The biggest concern IMO is that some of these laws require NOTHING from men but their word and have huge loopholes for predators. I’m not happy about women’s restrooms being a new political battleground (can’t a woman just want to pee in peace these days without being politically incorrect? Guess not.) I’m really disappointed that they aren’t forcing men to accept trans in their bathrooms. Nope, just the emotionally manipulable and sexually vulnerable class known as women (and by extension, children who often go to the restroom with their mothers).

I don’t like the laws but at least some of them have the provision that the man must not be utilizing the law for nefarious purposes. How are women supposed to know? Wait and see until they are assaulted and then deal with the fallout? It’s absolutely unacceptable to force women to put themselves at physical risk for men’s feelings. Also, men often have no clue how to behave in women’s spaces and they do stuff that makes women upset often without realizing it.

It stood out to me the other day when I went to PP to pick up pills. There was a man in the waiting room acting like a total jerk. He was jumping up and holding the door to the clinic for women and then getting mad when they didn’t gush and thank him. He did it a few times (all of the women including me reacted badly) then stomped around the waiting room on his phone, talking loudly and acting intimidating. The waiting room is usually 50/50 male and female but everyone is typically operating on the doctor’s office waiting room etiquette (pick a magazine or mess with your phone, but ffs don’t bother the people around you or try to demand their attention).

Certain birds in nature have nests that are at threat from other male birds (I can’t remember which specific species). The point is that these birds present themselves as harmless to get closer to the nest. The other birds don’t buy the harmless act because they have seen it used to steal eggs or chicks before and they often violently eject the interloping bird. We should take out cue from nature and make it a hassle for these men by calling the police.

  50. Oak and Ash Says:

Gallus Mag, I don’t know whether you’ve seen this yet, but on the same day of Caitlyn’s big reveal, OSHA issued guidelines on restroom access for transgender employees.

“Gender identity is an intrinsic part of each person’s identity and everyday life,” the report says. “Accordingly, authorities on gender issues counsel that it is essential for employees to be able to work in a manner consistent with how they live the rest of their daily lives, based on their gender identity. Restricting employees to using only restrooms that are not consistent with their gender identity, or segregating them from other workers by requiring them to use gender-neutral or other specific restrooms, singles those employees out and may make them fear for their physical safety.”

I heard a little more on NPR. Apparently employers are expected to let employees use whichever bathroom they choose without inquiring into their transgender status. What could possibly go wrong? (–Thank you for the documentation!) And what do you bet that women who dare to talk about being perved on in the restroom will be accused of bigotry and threatened with job loss?

What I fear is the sunk-costs effect. Once society has made a big enough deal of letting transgender people use the facilities they prefer, whether that’s restrooms, locker rooms, or–heaven help us!–hospital rooms, they’re going to feel too invested in their decision to back down even if (when!) women are harmed. There’ll be a lot of pressure to silence women who report incidents that cast doubt on the liberal trans narrative.

    • Yeah but they can’t deny the complaints forever. There are still lots of people who are sceptical of this whole trans bathroom thing.

In my opinion – a few peverts will ruin everything.

      • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

Oh Lilly, I disagree – it won’t be a few perverts who ruin everything.

It will be a deluge of ‘perverts’ ‘ruining’ ‘everything.’

      • CKDexterHaven Says:

Unisex facilities in sports centres and swimming baths are on the rise in the UK. Every week you can read stories about men being caught perving on women and girls in those spaces and they are just the ones who get found out. There are other stories on social media from women reporting how men can take over these spaces with their intimidating and entitled, but perfectly legal, behaviour, effectively excluding women and girls by making them too uncomfortable to return. When you make it easy for perverts and misogynists this is what happens.

      • GallusMag Says:

If you could document that it might be helpful.

    • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

I don’t think the “intrinsic part of each person’s identity” is going to pass judicial muster forever. Way too vague, way too faith-based, and who the FUCK are these “authorities on gender issues?” Do they have names? How come these people bringing us an ENORMOUS change in employment LAW don’t have any fucking names? Or maybe they do…

      • GallusMag Says:

The Executive Office of the Obama Administration is attempting to push through transgender policy bypassing the legislative and judicial branches of government by issuing directives from various appointee agencies. We have seen them do the same thing with Title 9 directives from the Department of Education and with various directives issued from the Justice Department.

      • MaryMacha Says:

I didn’t really need another reason to hate Obama.

      • CKDexterHaven Says:

Ireland, a country where a woman was allowed to die of septicaemia because her miscarriage still had a heartbeat, is bringing in a Gender Recognition Bill. It’s another example of trans rights piggybacking in on gay rights. The proposal is for transgender people to change all legal documentation, including their birth certificates, based upon self-identification alone.

  51. @I’m No Cissie

The photo you posted is what he really looks like. They could Photoshop Michael Jackson, put a ton of make up on him, get the lighting just right, get the best photographer, and make him look good too.

Look at him in the Diane Sawyer video, and then look at this Vanity Fair photograph. Notice how they have him leaning against a wall in a creepy kind of slutty, come hither look. If they show him standing straight up his obvious male skeletal structure would be obvious.

The problem with self-absored narcisstic men like Michael Jackson and Jenner is that no amount of plastic surgery is enough. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t get weirder with Jenner. Remember how Jackson turned out.

I read that his laryngeal shave left him with a strange, raspy voice. Why is his voice so strange?

This is what he looked liked after his laryngeal shave. Part of him looks like one of those aging Hollywood actresses that got way too much plastic surgery, except you can still tell that he is male by his size, large male hands, etc. He is one odd looking dude in these photographs.

    His past plastic surgeries.

Bruce Jenner was a handsome man, and could have aged gracefully, but he looks just strange now.

  52. No 64 year old human looks like this unless: (1.) They are Photoshopped, or (2.) They got a fat bank account for lots of plastic surgery.

“Vanity” is an appropriate term for Jenner. Don’t show those big, old ugly 64 year man hands or honking big feet.

  53. Relieved Says:

I heard Twisted Sisters’ “We’re not gonna take it” on the radio this morning while perusing the Jenner horror show online, and it occurred to me that that song would make a good women’s anthem with a few word changes.

“They want to force drugs on our children
Let dicks into our washroom buildings
But we’re not gonna take it, anymore!

No matter the media headlines spinnin’
Men in dresses won’t ever be women
And we’re not gonna take it, anymore!

The trans agenda is to silence
Us born women with threats of violence
And we’re not gonna take it, anymore!

Cause we are women – proud and smart and strong!

    We’re right. We’re free
    We’ll fight. You’ll see

  54. Gallus, good point and well said. I like the phrase, “the merging of old white man money with beauty product consumables.”

“Holy shit. The merging of old white man money with beauty product consumables. No wonder image rags sponsored by cosmetics and fashion industries are all over this shit!”

Virtually all the ads in Vanity Fair are from cosmetic and fashion companies.

Since Jenner is a “woman” now, he needs to give back his Olympic gold medal because it was awarded under fraudulent circumstances.

By the way, does anyone know if Mr. Caitlyn still has his penis and testicles, or does he just tuck it like most MTFs?

  55. Zemskull Says:

Bruce Jenner is going to receive the Arthur Ashe award for courage from ESPN. Compare this to Jim Valvano’s epic speech as he was dying from cancer, or many of the other recipients of this prestigious award such as Pat Summit (legendary coach becoming a spokesperson for Alzheimer’s, which she now suffers from), and Billie Jean King.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

Arthur Ashe would spin in his grave if he knew he was being mocked like this.

      • Especially when you consider that Ashe died of AIDs, which he might not have contracted if Jenner’s buddy, The Reagan had bothered to do a goddamned thing about the epidemic. And the band played on.

    • michelle Says:

Regarding the ESPY’s…there is a push (needs to be a much larger one IMO) to highlight the lunacy of putting Brucehilda up for the award when you have people like Lauren Hill who literally died not long after fulfilling her dream of playing college basketball. She had a brain tumor that was, as I understood things, deemed to be inoperable.

Lauren was never going to be confused with a player possessing substantial athletic skill, but she wanted to be on that court despite the medical issue that she KNEW was going to soon claim her life (she passed in April of this year).

If you hadn’t been aware of her story, take a look at the basic profile and tell me that SHE wasn’t courageous…

  56. Elle Says:

I am trying to think of something to say to people when the topic of Bruce comes up in conversation. What comes to mind is this: nothing about him bears any similarity to the actual women in my life–not my mother, not my grandmother, not my aunts, not my sister, not my friends, not myself.

There is only a painted surface with no core, and as with all MTT, the hollowness shows in his eyes.

    • Point out how he talks as if Bruce and Caitlyn are 2 different persons. As if he tries to be someone else (what he does).

    • MaryMacha Says:

Well Ellle, comparing him to the women in your life just makes you a self-centered misandrist, er, misogynist, I mean, don’t test me on this okay! I mean obviously comparing him to people with reproductive capacity and estrogen is oppressive. Dontcha know?

  57. GallusMag Says:

    From TMZ:

Bruce Jenner became a member of Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA 15 years ago. He golfed there almost every day and established close relationships with his golfing buddies. It’s a very exclusive, ritzy club with an initiation fee ranging between $150,000 and $300,000.
But now that Bruce is Caitlyn, the rules partially segregate her from the male members.
For starters, there’s a grill in the locker room that is male only. The women’s locker room has its own eating area which is way more scaled down.
Our Sherwood sources say the board will enforce the rules, which means the camaraderie Bruce shared with the other members will be impeded now that she’s Caitlyn.
But we’re also told the board is open to an appeal by Caitlyn herself. She can attempt to make a case that she can keep the same privileges she had when she was Bruce.

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

I so hope Brucinda isn’t going to start squealing about TERFs when he so happily joined a club that excluded women from all the best facilities. Seeing as how he’s felt like a laydee since, like, forever, did he ever empathise with all the women who were second class citizens at this club and campaign on their behalf? If he’s always known he was a woman why did he want to be in the men-only section of the club where, coincidentally, all the good shit was kept (as if we didn’t know)? Will he be lobbying to make this club inclusive of everyone now? How did he afford to join this club when Kris Jenner was supposedly financially abusing him?

      • Relieved Says:

This reminds me of a time we toured a 1700’s mansion. The tour guide told us that when it was built, the men’s study room door was deliberately cut much narrower than the other doors in the house, so that women in their voluminous skirts could not physically enter the “men’s domain”.

The club should continue to disallow Bruce the male privileges. Since he wants to be a woman, he should get treated like one. Is anyone surprised that the club is open to appeal though? It’s obvious they miss ol Bruce at the BBQ, but they don’t want to risk any non-male women sullying their boy’s club.

    • kesher Says:

I’m looking forward to Caitlyn informing the golf club that he’s not actually a woman in order not to be treated like a second-class citizen.

      • background spinner Says:

Oh, it’s pick and choose time, as usual. He’ll argue that he’s being sensitive to all the lil ladies who might be upset by his tallywhacker and wibbly wobblies on parade. He woudn’t want to appropriate women – only space!

And lo, he will be lauded as a “heroine” far and wide across the land, as he eats his manly man steak at the upgrade grill.

    • ImNoCissie Says:

Will there be boycotts of all the businesses of the men who play there, since sex-segregated spaces are bad and mean when they exclude trans?

      • Oak and Ash Says:

No, the trans community will find a way to blame his exclusion on radfems. I can’t wait to hear what sort of Rube Goldberg “logic” they use.

      • CKDexterHaven Says:

        Trans Exclusionary Republican Fuckwits!

Ooh no, I forgot it’s only bad when women do it!

      • Em Says:

“Bruce was asserting his masculinity … in that swimsuit.”

M2f are clinically ill, dangerous to women, and disgusting, in that order. This is a breathtaking, chillingly succinct summary of why.

Thanks for posting this! These smart statements from smart, respected women are seeds we must water.

    • Love Gwen Ifill! Good for her. Finally someone is speaking for me. Unlike Gloria Steinem and indigo girls.

    • Lint Says:

I honestly can’t believe she said that– but I’m thrilled that at least someone in the media is showing some skepticism in regards to Brucie’s glamor shots.

BTW, I just went on her twitter and expected to see a deluge of comments from the trans tribe but it was mostly just a smattering of handmaidens saying the usual. Interesting that they seem to be ignoring this.

  59. GallusMag Says:

    • weirdward Says:

A black woman being shouted over by three men. There’s something you don’t see every day /sarcasm. Good for her for holding her own and making her point.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

The black conservative woman would have made a far more powerful argument had she talked about a white person parading around in blackface saying he or she “identifies” as an African American. That is directly analogous to the trans nonsense.

      • I don’t know why, but some black people have a negative reaction to that comparison. To me it cuts right to the heart of the matter, but some people are offended. That might be why she avoided it. Someone had a meme where they compared the reaction to Jenner to the reaction to Michael Jackson. I thought it was dead-on, two men who spent a helluva lot of money to make drastic changes to their physical appearance. And despite my repeated questions as to why gender and race aren’t the same, I never got an answer.

      • kesher Says:

Since she’s a conservative black woman, odds are she offends other black Americans plenty with her views. She might as well go there.

      • gchild Says:

Had she pointing out this obvious ccomparison, both black and white people would been made to feel too uncomfortable. Being black herself somehow negates the validity of a race/gender comparison. When white trans do it though, it is all good.

      • VC Says:

I’m black and I take offense to comparing Bruce Jenner to Michael Jackson. Michael suffered from lupus and vitiligo, which robbed his skin of its pigment, and he was severely burned during a Pepsi commercial shoot, which destroyed much of his scalp, and left him in constant pain for years. While it has become fashionable for some “new blacks” like Raven Symone and Pharrell Williams to dub themselves “colorless”, Michael ALWAYS proclaimed himself to be a proud black American, and he backed it up by giving millions to the UNCF. Please don’t liken him to a selfish, fetishistic narcissist like Bruce Jenner.

      • GallusMag Says:

But DO liken him to a pedophile.

      • VC Says:

Gallus Mag, I truly appreciate the work you do here, and I’ve backed up my admiration with a donation. But your “pedophile” remark is not based in truth. I won’t bore you with the details, but they’re out there if you care to delve into them. Michael Jackson never molested anyone, and he was found not guilty on all counts in a court of law, after a five month trial, and an investigation that cost millions of California taxpayers’ dollars. To this day, the media simply makes up lies about him, and grifters try to extort his estate. You don’t have to like him, but the FBI never found any evidence against him, and I’m quite certain you don’t have any either. Don’t believe the hype.

      • GallusMag Says:

        Thanks for supporting the blog.

Michael Jackson was a total pedophile who used his money and fame to prey on little boys. The evidence and his own admissions have been well documented elsewhere. And no, I don’t like men like him.

Now that we’ve both repeatedly expressed our views we can get back on topic of this thread. Any further comments about Michael Pedo Jackson, a man that admittedly exploited children will not be published here.

      • VC Says:

Continue your good work. You’ve really been very informative on the trans issue. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. But you are posting things which simply are not true and I can’t support you anymore.

      • GallusMag Says:

Good. I don’t want to be supported by women who defend child molesters. Don’t come back.

      • Zemskull Says:

Michael Jackson did have a commonality with some transgenders. The latter often proclaim that there’s no “gender binary,” while they spend six-figure sums to attempt to look like the female stereotype. Jackson sang, “It don’t matter if you’re black or white,” yet spent similar amounts to attempt to look white.

    • I'm No Cissie Says:

I see right through your phoney eyerolling & incredulous faces, boys. You know EXACTLY what Crystal is talking about and you refuse to address it.

  60. Please sign the “Revoke Caitlyn Jenner’s Olympic medals” petition:

    Dear International Olympic Committee,

“It has recently come to light that gold medalist Bruce Jenner is in fact transgender, and therefore, identifies as a woman. We congratulate Ms. Jenner on these new developments and wish her the best. However, this creates somewhat of a problem as Ms. Jenner (as talented as she is) claims that she has always believed herself to be truly female, and therefore, was in violation of committee rules regarding women competing in men’s sports and vice versa. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we must ask whether or not it is proper that Ms. Jenner should retain her olympic records in light of this, as we must now either claim that Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner are two entirely different people (which we know is not true), or that Bruce Jenner was, in fact, a woman participating in a men’s event. It is only fair to all involved that women receive their credit as champions of the Decathalon and that the men racing Ms. Jenner are not expected to compete with a superior, streamlined being such as herself.

We urge Ms. Jenner to support the transgender community by giving up the medals earned by competing against the wrong gender.

Thank you, and congratulations to Ms. Jenner for her courage!”

    • GallusMag Says:

    • Susan Nunes Says:

Nothing will happen, of course. Bruce didn’t cheat like “Stella” Walsh did back in the 1930s when he or she or whatever posed as a woman to enter women’s events. Bruce is still a guy now. Walsh didn’t have to surrender any medals after it was found out after the Olympian’s death he or she had “ambiguous” genitalia (i.e., he was a man for all intents and purposes and definitely looked far more masculine than 99.999 percent of women athletes).

    • kesher Says:

Has anyone called Bruce the first woman Olympian decathlete? It would be pretty typical for the trans cult since women still can’t participate in the Olympics’ decathlon.

    • Zemskull Says:

Hi SkyLark Phillips: There’s a big problem with this petition. As discussed previously on this forum, there was and still is no Olympic women’s decathlon. In fact, many of the events in the decathlon, such as pole vaulting, were not even individual women’s sports in 1976, when Jenner took gold.

This petition would likely be more effective if it encouraged the IOC to give the gold to Guido Kratschmer, who hailed from what was then West Germany. He had a lot of negative setbacks in his career, including West Germany’s boycotting the 1980 Olympics, at which he was undeniably at his peak, and predicted to be the winner.

    • If Martina Navratilova transitioned to “Martin” or “Justin,” she would be petitioned to give up all her Wimbledon champion platters.

She was publicly slurred more than once for “playing like a man.” People even wanted her tested for steroids.

In truth, she raised the level of women’s tennis.

To Caitlyn, Zoey, Michelle and any other trannies reading this… you want to use the trans ticket to re-write the past, then it must be rewritten. Always a woman?…. then give up those medals and other privileges you earned masquerading as a man.

Likewise, when you married there was no same sex marriage and so your marriage is null and void. The day you tell your wife and kids that you are a woman, always have been, is the day you let go of any claims that you may have to be considered a spouse and parent.

But you did the marrying and parenting thing fraudulently and those who commit fraud knowingly should pay up or shut up.

Just about had enough of these self-centered, fetishists who rewrite their past and go out broadcasting it to one and all, and, just for good measure, manage to slip the word suicide into the conversation.

If my ex is reading this, then that includes him too.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

You hit it on the head. Nobody DARES to do cross-racial casting anymore on movies and television, but by God, cross-dressers are encouraged to mock women all over the place.

It should NOT be allowed at all.

      • endlessleeper Says:

yeah, i really don’t understand the vicious hatred for cross-racial casting. apparently it’s racist to merely LOOK at a white woman (it’s always a woman, of course; teh libruls utterly adore white men) but to imitate women as a class and pretend you can be raped and impregnated makes you a brave hero. hahahahaha these trannies are SO FUCKING DELUDED it is utterly astonishing. i hope their handmaidens wake up and get sick of their bullshit.

      • kesher Says:

There’s still cross-racial casting, but not blackface at least. A major example is Cliff Curtis who’s Maori, but who is never actually cast as a Polynesian character unless he’s doing a movie in New Zealand. Hollywood typically casts him as Latino or Arab.

  62. LC Says:

Talking to libfems about the Bruce Gender thing… I sometimes do programming as a hobby, and I’m tempted to create a database of trans propaganda slogans with a simple response program that spits them out based on keywords in a statement… and seeing if anyone can tell the difference between that and arguing with the typical trans supporter.

I think the computer will win.

    • kesher Says:

There are some trans activists online who sound like bots.

      • lin Says:

There’s already one specifically for Bruce. If it detects the words Caitlyn Jenner and ‘he’, it replies with “You mean she.”

  63. Beth Says:

I think this is a good thing for women. Maybe society will begin to look at females as more than “physical beauty”. Think about it. More men will transition into becoming a woman because they can make so much money exploiting the female. Men will finally, and I say finally get sick of the sex industry, and start to look as women as human beings.

  64. gothamette Says:

Am I the only one who thinks that the head looks as if it was photoshopped onto a different body?

    • Biscuit Says:

Nope. The photo has been so altered that it looks like someone photoshopped the parts of two or three different people together.

    • Siobhan Says:

I suspect that the head is from one shot and the body from another. The lighting on the head is coming from a different angle, and it looks like the head was clipped from one photo, resized and recolored, and then pasted onto another photo.

      • gothamette Says:

@Siobhan, actually the face is from one shot and the body from another. The body including the neck. Look at it. That’s a face plopped badly onto a neck.

Annie Liebovitz has always been a fraud and a mercenary hack, as well.

      • Bea Says:

The BMI of Brucezilla’s body is completely different from his face in the shot where he’s in the car (kind of creepy that he’s in a car considering his manslaughter incident). His body looks like a waifish 17-year-old fashion model, whereas his face looks plump and well-fed. His face would look saggy and emaciated if he was really that thin. I’m not talking about Botox or dermal fillers, either. It looks very awkward, especially considering even very thin women have skin rolls on their belly when they are sitting.

      • neme Says:

He’s had massive amounts of liposuction. He’s chosen to have his facial bones broken and filed down. What’s left of him is stuffed into a painful corset and girdle, both so tight he probably could hardly breathe. Then on top of that his body is completely redrawn in Photoshop. There is nothing authentic about any of this.

  65. WTF Is This Nonsense? Says:

I guess Bruce gave up on trying to be dignified. He ate a 55 gallon drum of laxatives and shit all over womanhood.

  66. Zemskull Says:

I’m perplexed at the apparent lack of checks and balances for transgender patients, wealthy or not, undergoing these procedures. Compare this to weight-loss surgery, in which the potential patient, even if self-paying, may have to first be on a successful diet for up to one year, attend therapy, visit one’s primary doctor at least four times in the year for appointments restricted to the topic of the patient’s weight, undergo a battery of medical tests that may indicate conditions such as hypothyroidism that preclude eligibility, and be asked personal questions about one’s childhood and proclivities to addictions such as alcoholism. The potential patient must also agree to one year of nutritional therapy and exercise training for one year following the surgery.

All of those rules in place, yet weight loss doesn’t alter the person’s name, identification cards, genitals or personality. Not to mention that society reacts favorably toward morbidly obese people losing weight.

    • Dogtowner Says:

Where are these strict rules in place? It is very easy to get weight-loss surgery in the U.S. (anything that makes money for the medical-industrial complex) and many people are not followed afterward, at least partially because the death/disease/bad outcomes rates are so overwhelming.

  67. AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

I’m triggered by this. I know trans are always saying they are triggered by stuff, but you know how there are TVs all over the place, in McDonald’s and other restaurants, it’s on the news, it’s in my fucking face even when I go somewhere to get the hell away from it. It makes me feel like my life is utterly meaningless, drained of meaning and purpose. I’m nothing. I feel like I have to pull myself out of impending depression, because I know myself better, I’m kind of getting into the zone where i feel utterly powerless, beaten. I give up. I’m in mourning, I feel a little bit of the let me be in a dark room and grieve, this is a loss, a real loss that women are sustaining, and the whole world it feels like is CELEBRATING. This feeling will pass. But it’s in there, roiling around. What kind of gonzo gaslighting is it, when even your PRESIDENT praises an autogynephile on a magazine cover? What the fuck does Michelle Obama feel about this? What about their daughters, how the F do you explain this to your young daughters?

    • Susan Nunes Says:

Nobody is thinking clearly about this and its ramifications, about this transgender stuff absolutely OBLITERATES women and negates them as a protected class. Women are supposed to be respected, not mocked. By definition, these trans mock women. Transgenderism is far more dangerous than the right wing’s attitude about women. That’s because the right is very clear on what they want. They don’t lie about it. The trans and their enablers, though, try the gaslighting and authoritarian approach that will not allow for any dissent, dissent meaning truth for fear the whole fragile house of cards will come tumbling down.

I can’t stand to watch these fakers. They disgust me to no end. Tonight Dr. Drew had the usual bunch of psychobabbling idiots trying to con the rest of us these deranged, even perverted, people are somehow normal. The subject, of course, was about Bruce Jenner. They had that ludicrous Bob Tur on there who doesn’t even attempt a “feminine” voice and looks more grotesque than “Tootsie” with his getup. I had to turn him off. These trans are so off in the head, they don’t realize their attempted appearance as stereotyped women fails miserably. They can’t be taken seriously at all.

      • kesher Says:

Speaking of conservatives, I can kind of understand why conservative women cling to conservative ideas of women’s proper place. Conservatives see women as private property, so, if you’re a woman in a conservative community, as long as you find a decent property owner who can provide for you and won’t hurt you, you’ll be pretty well situated in life. Liberal men, as I and others here have noted before, see women as public property, which means women in liberal communities have no protection whatsoever.

      • Jane (the first) Says:

Yes, Kesher. Liberal men are running a protection racket without the protection. They think they don’t have to do anything for us except allow us reproductive rights, which enable them to use women as objects anyway.

Nobody is thinking clearly about this and its ramifications, about this transgender stuff absolutely OBLITERATES women and negates them as a protected class

As many of us have experienced, if you go on a liberal website and discuss anything exclusive to class:female, the flying monkeys descend instantly. Trans are attempting to limit women’s speech to that which affirms their pornsick version of woman: literally nothing deeper about the experience of being a woman than sexual objectification, which we are supposed to pretend to enjoy. As one radfem said on Twitter:

Trans think they own womanhood now.

It is the authoritarian approach Susan describes that will cause the trans house of cards to fall. Bullshit like ESPN choosing Jenner for a courage award over genuinely brave people like Noah Galloway will eventually backfire.

They’re mentally ill, and therefore won’t know when to quit. With every ridiculous interview or op-ed piece by a Sophia Banks or a Paris Lees, they sow the seeds of their own destruction.

      • kesher Says:

I’ve occasionally mused on the similarities between eunuchs in the West (I don’t know much about how they were used in non-Western cultures) and trans identity today.

The parallel that hits hardest, for me, is that a thousand years ago, parents would willfully castrate one of their extra sons and send him down to Constantinople to try to get him a job in the royal court. What, fundamentally, is the difference between that mutilation and parents who are chemically castrating their kids because “dysphoria”?

      • lestoille Says:

one of the primary functions of eunuchs has always been to guard the harems and women’s quarters and this has been the case cross-culturally. it’s chilling when you consider this history against what is happening now with trannyism. of course i dont believe that these men transition consciously in order to spy on women for other men, but it’s one of the reasons why the patriarchy has latched on to trannyism so readily. There is a well-established precedent of men using un-men for surveillance and control of women. frankly trannyism is worse, because men insist these un-men are actually women, and unlike real eunuchs, most of them keep their junk anyway.

    • Atranswidow Says:

@AreUSayingWhatUThink….the dark room? Naefearty said the same thing somewhere else in this thread. I took a walk up the hill, saw the sun coming up, heard the bird song and felt the wind in my hair. I just wanted to be with Mother Nature, connected to the female energy of growth and light and caring.

Don’t let them harm us. We are connected because we know how to be one as women; to grow, give life and succour.

They, with their artificial, drug supported, silicone and cosmetic enhanced version of ”femininity” will never be able to experience that. That is our strength.

      • Dogtowner Says:

Beautiful, Atranswidow, exactly. These men are the apex of our artificial, human-created culture, divorced from the sun, the birds, the wind, and our Mother the Earth. We are such a sad and vicious species.

      • AreUSayingWhatUThink Says:

This made me cry a little. It comforted me. Thank you.

    • Bea Says:

I think the President is thinking VERY clearly on the tran$ issue. His buddies at Glaxo-SmithKline are probably giving him pleasant “reminders” all the time.

      • MaryMacha Says:

I do wonder what the master plan is in all of this. In this country, nothing without a massive social agenda gets this kind of public support and 24/7 propaganda. Anything that has the blessings of big pharma and the medical establishment HAS to be nefarious.

  68. Cassandra Says:

Thank you for this place where I can come and see that I am not alone in knowing how fucked up this all is. It really is depressing. Females get called bigots while the trans are actively hurting us, and the media (and apparently Obama?) are going along with it like it’s peachy keen. It’s so wrong. Why are people so fucking stupid? I guess whatever sells. Women are always thrown under the bus for a buck, why would this time be any different?

But if anybody read the comments on that article about his country club—that’s where you can get a pulse on reality. Most everyday people just aren’t buying it. And he looks ridiculous! It’s just so insulting to women, and insulting is the least of it, as we all know.

I wonder, if humanity survives, if this will stay on the history books? How will the transgender cult be seen in 100 years? 200 years?

Several of the comments here really made me laugh though, so at least there’s that. Thank you.

  70. mon Says:

All those people out there who are over the moon over that Vanity Fair photo will soon realize how photo shopped it was. Paparazzi will continue to snag pictures of Jenner outside of a staged, studio setting. Think how crest fallen they will be with relentless, upcoming pictures of him, walking outside in the morning without the aid of all those make up artists, wig stylists, and lighting experts. Sitting somewhere he thinks is private with his man legs comfortably spread wide open, instead of all clamped and tucked. Big feet plodding around the yard. Cranky man face instead of that staged, flirty pout. Giant male hands adjusting sun glasses or holding a cell phone while driving.

    • GallusMag Says:

Can you imagine if Kim Kardashian had killed someone with her car and was then photographed two months later behind the wheel of her car in glamour shots by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair? In an article celebrating her massive plastic surgery overhaul which allowed her to be her “true self”?

      • Sorry for the OffTopic Gallus.

        Have you seen this:

You can declare yourself a woman, but actual women still can’t have abortions.

Fucking hell I want off this planet.

      • born free & female Says:

Reminds me of how Laverne Cox could defend a guy who helped rape and kill a little girl, and the mainstream media ignored the story even while gushing over Cox at the Emmy awards. And they run lots of glamour shots of Cox, but every so often a photo gets through that isn’t carefully posed and you can see how strange all his facial surgery looks.

Reporters are acting like they’re part of the trans PR team. I suppose they’ve bought into the idea that if they ever show a trans person acting or looking bad, MILLIONS OF TRANS TEENS WILL BE MURDERED! ONE IN TWELVE! ONE IN TWELVE!

      • GallusMag Says:

If they cared about murder rates they’d be doing articles about Native/Indigenous women. They don’t.

      • morag99 Says:

“Can you imagine if Kim Kardashian had killed someone with her car and was then photographed two months later behind the wheel of her car in glamour shots by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair?”

Oh, Gallus, the first thing I said — after I recovered my breath, that is — when I saw that glamour shot of him, in bright, aggressive red, behind the wheel of a sports car was: What the fuck is THIS?

Yes, I know … he was a race car driver. The macho man, now in silk panties and a tight dress, is the same person. Juxtaposition and continuity. I get the stinking concept of the photograph. But, he just recently KILLED a woman while driving. This expert driver killed someone with a car.

So how could this photo — which is a deliberate, creative construction, requiring thought and planning — be a poor judgement, a miscalculation, a mistake? No, it can’t be. And it is more than mere insensitivity; it is a taunt. Arrogance and audacity. Perhaps sociopathy. I’m talking about the magazine, the photographer and her subject. An all-round perversion and lack of conscience.

Either that, or — as someone else jokingly suggested — Annie Leibovitz really is a sort of double-agent, a saboteur — a woman more than happy to make him look good (and get paid handsomely for it) while exposing his ugliness and evil right under the glossy surface. You know, for those who care to actually look.

      • No name Says:

I hate to say it but that fake boob photo where he suddenly has gone from A cup to double D, and is behind the wheel, is really in bad taste. It looks like the crypt keeper is out cruising to hit more real women like Mrs Howe, and he is sexualizing the experience with bigger boobs, real creepy sh*t from a guy.. He probably had to tuck his boner for that one.

      • Lint Says:

I’m still scratching my head over the decision to photograph Bruce in a car –behind the wheel no less! Is this to show us that Bruce is now “in the diver’s seat”, bravely living his life the way he wants to?

To my eyes, Bruce in the sports car is more reminiscent of a middle aged man and a mid-life crisis. Like the car, womanhood is just another prop to soothe the male ego. In their eyes we are just consumable things that get used to make men feel better. Gross.

      • Biscuit Says:

I think the same is true for suicide rates. In Canada at least, suicide rates are highest among Native people, especially the north.

    • kesher Says:

I don’t know. I think we’re going to be looking at a mass media collusion to ensure “Caitlyn” is never shown in a bad light. Similar to how most press outlets were hard-pressed to publish photos of FDR in a wheelchair.

      • lestoille Says:

the media is definitely trying to obscure bruce’s real look. watching the vanity fair videos and the promo for his new reality show, we get 1 and 2 second cuts where the camera glides and skirts around his face, or distant shots of him posing, but we never get to see what he really looks like for long enough to pass judgement. the camera work and editing is so evasive it’s almost laughable.

but it’s only a matter of time before some candid paparazzi shots are released.

i wonder how bruce will handle it. he has lived his life as an “attractive” man, and now he’s transitioned into ugliness by societal standards. Many of these autogynephiles convince themselves that they are gorgeous sexy ladies, but i wonder if bruce will be able to delude himself to the same extent. He is a very vain man. We know that from all his prior plastic surgery.

      • Susan Nunes Says:

There were so many comments like “you need to educate yourself trans have extra chromosomes” And ” It’s proven that trans have female brains” People are just accepting that as true WTF. I can only hope that when I pointed out to someone that according to these people a straight male is now a lesbian, it might have made someone somewhere think wait..

  73. lestoille Says:

i’m finding much of the public reaction to this to be fascinating. It’s an example of what gallus pointed out – it’s not in the interest of trangenders to have high visibility and exposure, because it just draws attention to the nonsense.

laverne cox gets a pass, because he reinforces the (erroneous) idea the public holds about transgenders – that they’re basically gay men who take it one step further. But bruce represents the real tranny majority, a rich, old, conservative, straight white man with a sex fantasy and a new lolicon name. Crucially, and unlike laverne, everyone knows bruce’s history and life story leading up to his ‘big reveal’

when you get away from the groupthink of gawker media and the reddit front page, people aren’t buying it. From TMZ to the new york times comments, I don’t think i’ve ever seen so much unfettered trans criticism. People are asking the obvious questions: if bruce was so uncomfortable living as a man, why did he keep marrying and impregnating women? if he’s keeping his junk, in what sense is he really a woman? Women are pissed off at the hypersexualized photoshoot – “is that what bruce thinks being a woman is all about, makeup and lingerie?” Men are predictably pissed off at being told what to do, their reactions to the she-not-he twitter bot – “How dare you police my language!”

my favorite example was from the NYT comments. It was mentioned that bruce felt so uncomfortable “living a lie” that he used to wear a bra and panties when going on speaking tours. Someone commented “well, that sounds like a fetish to me.” Lol. No shit.

the tranny cheerleaders have been going on and on about how it’s so wonderful that bruce is bringing transgenderism to the masses. He’s an american hero! The perfect ambassador! But he is in fact the worst ambassador, because he ticks every single one of the autogynephile boxes – from his history of deadbeat paternity, to his macho career (sports/stem/military), his social and political conservatism, stealing the clothes of his teenage daughters for masturbatory purposes, the loli name, the creepy way he talks about himself in the third person. seriously, ALL THE BOXES. except we’ve yet to discover an online cache of sexy selfies, but it’s still early days.

the tranny movement should have stuck with the black homosexuals as representatives. The autogynephiles will be a PR disaster.

i actually can’t remember the last time I felt so optimistic about the trans problem. Thanks bruce!

    • GallusMag Says:

As I’ve stated time and again, there’s a reason that feminist writers and bloggers read and republish and quote the transgenderists, but the opposite is never true. Even the male (“transwoman”) activists whose entire platforms are dedicated to battling “the TERFs” (and there are a ton of them!) never actually read and republish and quote our words.

If the things we are saying are wrong, our own words would be held up as evidence. But they never are.

Feminists like myself hold up the words these men say because the things they are saying are absurd, disgusting, and speak for themselves. Transgenderists never hold up the words of feminists for critique. Never. Not even in the course of “debunking” us. They can’t.

Sometimes these guys will write posts for the other guys relaying what they imagine us to be saying, but they will never, ever simply post our actual words.

How many posts on GenderTrender are simply the words and media produced by transgenderists themselves: un-edited, and posted absent of any spin or commentary? Many, many posts. Their words speak for themselves, and we at least give them the respect to actually listen to them.

By listening to them, reading them, and publishing and quoting their own words these men (“transwomen”) feel we are doxxing them, dishonoring them, and making a mockery of them. Because when they read their own words objectively -through the eyes of women- they feel exposed. Even though all we are doing is having the courtesy and respect to let them speak for themselves.

A friend and I, both active in critiquing the trans-genderist movement, have joked for years that if the transgenderists actually engaged with our work it might help them move their own movement forward, bypassing the inevitable pushback from the women they are stepping on. But to men, perhaps most especially the men who claim to “identify as” women, the only women’s voices that matter are the ones calling him to breakfast, helping him put on his make-up, and telling him what a hero he is.

Instead of holding up our words to speak for themselves, as we do to these men, the sole strategy of these men has been to silence, censor, and prohibit us from speaking. Merely viewing and examining their own words is also a violation, of the female gaze. We must not speak and we must not see.

This is not a movement that is ready for a close-up, not even one by Annie Leibovitz.

      • kesher Says:

I feel like this goes hand-in-hand with how trans “allies” think that MTTs are, categorically, above reproach. There’s no need to read or listen to what they’re writing and saying because they’re beautiful delicate flowers and sunbeams shine out of their asses. If “allies” ever start paying attention to what MTTs are actually doing, the jig will be up.

      • neme Says:

The delicate, sheltered, trigger-warninged, adult babies who support the autogynephiles warn, threaten, and bully each other to NOT read our words. From their platform of chosen ignorance, from their place of extreme privilege, they police each other and play thought-police, just hoping for a chance to scream, “transmisogyny!!!” at anyone who shows signs of gender critical thinking. Any sign of questioning the transpolitik and these psychos attack. They are terrified to hear us, because they suspect their religious zeal will not hold up to critical analysis. That’s why they try so hard to de-platform us, they fear an open mind and free discussion will deprogram them.

    • Susan Nunes Says:

I would say “Laverne” Cox is no better a representative of the trans community. Or “Janet” Mock. They are very clearly drag queens who have undergone at least some surgical butchery. Nothing female at all about them. They are so screwed up, they think nothing of mocking half of the human race. You’d think being African American, though, they’d be sensitive to the idea that it is not okay to mock oppressed groups. Their sexual delusions or fetishes, however, are more important than the feelings of half of the human race.

      • Bob Doublin Says:

Gets even more convoluted. Apparently Janet Mock is part Hawaiian and grew up in Hawaii. He recently wrote an article castigating the movie “Aloha” for its casting and “cultural appropriation” of the Hawaiian language. He is correct, but given his blatant appropriating of “being” female etal ( everything the brilliant Gallus Mag and all the commenters here have said about this over the years),the irony simply fraughts all over the place

    • Larichus Says:

In a similar fashion, I suspect Bruce will attempt “cotton ceiling” shaming on the wrong woman, and the reality of that crap will finally percolate out to the general public…

      • I really think he will creep the women out who meet him thinking that he is now a totally different person or better – one of them.
I imagine that he is also capcable of sexual harassing them. I mean he kept his penis intact for a reason and if jerking off in panties and dresses isn’t enough anymore he might start to drag others into this perverted gross mess.

    • KgSch Says:

A lot of people aren’t buying this and hopefully they’ll realize that transgender isn’t some kind of super gay but most often a het man with a creepy sexual fetish. I just hope that when the backlash happens they don’t blame lesbians for this shit. Or give conservatives all the credit because radical lesbian feminists have been against this since it started.

I do have to agree with Susan Nunes that if you do a little research, black gay males Janet Mock and Laverne Cox are obvious woman-haters and not good representatives either. It could be because overall the trans cult is a male-worshiping cult that hates women. They just try to hide it.

Gallus Mag, you are absolutely right! The trans cult just lies about lesbian radical feminists and “terfs”. They always try to and succeed in no-platforming real radical feminists from speaking in public and social media sites have a very 1984-thought policing climate. If radical feminists were really so awful, then trans cult supporters would be allowed to read our blogs to see how awful we really are. But they aren’t. Anyone who accidentally reblogs a terf must delete her post and apologize profusely.

I still fail to see how basic common sense that men cannot become lesbians/woman via plastic surgery (or often just by claiming to be) is the same as wanting to kill people. It could just be that lesbians and other women are not taken seriously.

      • lestoille Says:

of course laverne cox and janet mock are misogynists, but since when has society cared if men are misogynist or not? These men get a pass because they reinforce what society believes about trannys – that they are just gay men dialled up a notch. Society will not extend this acceptance to autogynephiles so readily.

      • Dogtowner Says:

I realize that people’s sex education is paltry, but when men (I assume) cannot even tell that Serena Williams is a woman (and what a woman) they’re just pathetic racists. This reminds me of a comment on a radical lesbian blog in which a woman (I assume) told me that men put on muscle and women put on fat. All I could think of was Sojourner Truth’s “Ain’t I a Woman” and my own proclivity for putting on muscle.

      • I find it hard to believe that ANYBODY can look at Serena Williams who has a very voluptuous figure and see a man. I think it’s indicative of mainly racism, but also how far we’ve distanced ourselves from the reality of what an actual woman looks like. How the hell can they look at the likes of Laverne Cox and see a woman, but call Ms. Williams a man?

The notion pisses me off because MOST of the black women I knew growing up looked very much like Serena; they had curvy bodies, but were muscular because most were blue collar workers of one kind or another. Serena Williams is very much the personification of what I think of when I envision a beautiful woman.

  77. anon man Says:

The conservative commenter Matt Walsh over at the Blaze is actually tearing it up on this:

No doubt folks won’t agree with everything he says in there, but he absolutely nails it several times:

” A woman is a woman. She has earned that title. She pays for that title. She suffers with that title and gives life with that title and lives from conception until death and beyond with that title. She is that title. She should not be told that it’s such a flimsy thing that a man with enough money can buy his way into it. It’s demeaning and reductive, and as a father and a husband and a son and a brother, I take exception to it. I can only imagine how women might feel if they were only allowed to be open about it.

And notice I said I “can only imagine,” because that’s all I can do. I cannot experience a woman’s thoughts or feelings due to the fact that I am not one.

    Neither is Bruce.”

He also shows awareness of the fundamental contradiction between trans propaganda and feminism:

    “Transgenderism Kills Feminism

As conservatives and Christians have run away terrified by the prospect of having meaningless words like transphobic tossed at them, it might ultimately be, in a strange twist of fate, the feminists who take down the “transgender” narrative. If they ever figure out that “transgenderism” is a direct assault on their entire worldview, maybe it will prompt a full fledged civil war in the progressive ranks.

After all, according to mainstream feminist wisdom, there is no such thing as a “female brain” or a “female soul” or “feeling like a female.” By the words of every liberal who has ever said anything on the subject of women’s rights in the past four decades, how you dress, look, think, and feel have nothing to do with your womanhood. Usually it would be offensive and sexist to accuse a woman of acting like, thinking like, or feeling like a woman.

Yet now, suddenly, emotions and looks define a woman so severely that a man can actually become one if he claims to experience feelings that he assumes are feminine?

    The whole thing contradicts itself.”

    • Because they think a different face (and ignore that it’s photshopped like hell) = different person or that everyone who identifies as woman is trustworthy. Also note how she ignores his gross behaviour in the past.

Rekless driving, stealing clothes of his teenage daughter, being a deadbeat dad, supporting and donating to reagan druing the aids crisis, ignoring how he creepily speaks like Bruce and Caitlyn are 2 different persons and so on.

I’m a woman living in Seattle. A couple of weeks ago a man dressed as a woman was in the restroom at the museum I was visiting. I brought it to the attention of the museum officials and was totally ignored. I do not want to have men in the restroom with me because of safety issues. Can any of you ladies help me find resources here in Seattle that will help me protect my rights as a women. I also feel insulted by men calling themselves women–more than insulted it is dehumanizing. I feel objectified by their lady-face routines. I cannot take anymore of this unreality. Can someone please point me to the right direction. I feel that all the so-called women’s organizations are taking the side of men.

  82. Beverly Says:

So this is why I was so blatantly ignored. Because as a woman I have no legal standing to privacy in the restroom. You know, that man was right outside my stall. He was not standing by the door to the restroom like a real woman would, he was right outside my stall. My first thought was–was he watching me? I tried to write it off and ignore the alarms going off in my head, but now I realize that I’m being bamboozled by these freaks. And I’m getting really pissed. Is there any organized effort to legally confront these people? I need to figure out what my next step is. I need a plan.

‘Mr. Jenner told ABC’s Diane Sawyer that the thing he is most looking forward to in his new life is “to be able to have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off.”’

Wow. Old/new Brucilyn is, like, really deep. As a mere born woman, who’s much too close to my own experience of womanhood to see it for what it’s really all about, I’m so totally, literally inspired. SHE offers such a fresh and new and AMAZING perspective! Being a woman is about the simple and pretty things. Nothing says “I’m my true feminine self” like chipped paint.*

Jesus. But, I like this writer’s retort:

‘Good luck with that. Nail polish and its maintenance is one of the scourges of womanhood (makeup and high heels among them) that thinking people of my gender have tried to shrug off since Betty Friedan said to hell with all this. But have at it; whatever makes you feel pretty.’

Yeah, Bruce will “have at it” alright. He’ll have at anything he feels like having a go at. That’s the whole point.

(*when his nail polish does eventually chip, we can be sure it won’t be from having to wash piles of dishes, scrub linoleum floors, or pull weeds from the garden!)

      • Lulu Says:

And this is why I totally agree that Bruce will eventually start contemplating suicide. The nail polish and cute outfits are gonna get old quickly. There will come a time where he won’t be able to climax simply by looking at “Caitlyn” in the mirror. The only way he will be able to reach that level of arousal again would be to cut off his dick, which defeats the purpose, obviously. There will be no place left for him to go sexually. And once he realizes that, he’ll check out. But this is what happens when a man allows a sexual fetish to take over his life.

      • lestoille Says:

i dont know about suicide (bruce has a very cushy life by anyones standard), but i think he is in for a rude awakening.

for these men the taboo and secrecy produces much of the autogynephilic thrill. Itchy bra lace rubbing against his moobs under his suit while he’s in a business meeting. How illicit! or smuggling one of little susie’s dresses into his bedroom so he can swoon in front of the mirror for a few stolen moments. So clandestine!

It’s a whole different story when it’s all out in the open and people expect him to dress up. he will struggle, because femininity is a chore, and too tiring for an old geezer. and it’ll be extra bad for bruce because he is kompeting with the kardashians, who are the poster women for high maintenance fuckability

he wont have the stamina for it. i give it a month before he declines into his inevitable pig-in-a-wig future. I foresee paparazzi shots of him on the golf course, dressed in sloppy pink sweats with a baseball cap covering his unkempt wisps.

i have no doubt the tv show will result in unsatisfactory outcomes, for him personally and trans generally. These reality shows depend on manufactured drama and the subject’s willingness to look ridiculous. thats risky ground when the subject is an autogynephile. LOL. Alternatively, the producers might airbrush the show so bruce seems blandly inoffensive, but that would most likely fizzle into disappointing ratings.

once the tranny high wears off, and the public interest wanes and femulation becomes a grind, things will be bleak for him. long term, i think he will settle into the “no effort” tranny state where he basically defaults back into the man he is, but with those too-hard too-high titties poking out of his chest, only bothering to resurrect Caitlyn for the occasional b-list hollyweird event. In a few years, i wouldn’t be surprised if he has a big public detransition, in an attempt to rekindle the What A Hero, So Inspirational narrative.

whichever way this goes, i do not think it will be good for trans at all. even now, his transition is triggering some long awaited public discourse. and at this crucial time, when trannydom is being legislated into every jurisdiction. For those of us who aren’t already doing the heavy lifting (as gallus is) now is the time to start working – activating, letter writing, petitioning, peer education. we need to strike when the iron is hot and it is surely growing warmer.

      • GallusMag Says:

        YESSSSSSSSSSSS. Now or never.

lestoille, you make great suggestions. I inform as many people as I can about what trans really means, including writing organizations, etc, who send me pro-trans stuff. I got a plea for money from an organization that helps women who need abortions, but I wanted to be sure they focus on women and not on men, and asked some questions, to which I have received no reply. There are people who are open to information — I send FAIR, a media-critical group, a ton of stuff, and I have not seen any “oh, poor trans” articles recently. One organization we need to target is Democracy Now! I have written them twice, including asking if giving cross-sex hormones is really an example of caring about someone’s health.

Jenner is varcissistic, but I’m not so worried about him as men like Carlotta Sklodowska, trans registered sex offender Paula Witherspoon, suspected serial killer of women Douglas, “Donna”, Perry, Christopher, “Jessica”, Hambrook, and cross dressing, pink Barbie doll tutu wearing Gregory Philip Schwartz.

Trans activists will milk Jenner’s “transformation” for all it’s worth, and fawn all over him as if he were a rock star or a saint, but they do not want people to notice men like Carlotta Sklodowska or Gregory Philip Schwartz.

There is only one Bruce Jenner, but hundreds, if not thousands of men like Carlotta Skodowska and Paula Witherspoon.

I don’t care if Jenner likes to wear a dress, but no woman should be forced to share a restroom or locker room with him. Jenner is a heterosexual biological father of six children by three different wives. Despite all the money on plastic surgery, makeup, etc. he still has his balls and penis. If he really believed he was a “woman”, one would think the balls would be the first to go. No, it’s a ton of money on plastic surgery for the face, maybe a boob job, etc., but he still likes his penis the way it is. How can people say that Jenner, penis and all, should be allowed to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms, and then bitch about Paula Witherspoon or Colleen Francis and “her male” genitalia. The more that fully intact males (penis and testicles) are allowed in women’s restrooms, locker rooms, etc. sooner or later another Colleen Francis or Paula Witherspoon will come along.

“Is there any organized effort to legally confront these people?”

Currently, there is a lawsuit over the Planet Fitness incident in Michigan. Google it, and get in contact with them. Although it’s a conservative group representing Ms. Cormier, you could try contacting them.

Don’t ever give up! If you are disabled, you could try asking for an ADA Request for Reasonable Accommodation stating that having to share a restroom with a biological male would cause you psychological stress. Get a therapist to write you a letter. How can anyone prove that “gender dysphoria” is more important than PTSD in women?

Transgender people, even trans convicted murderers of women like Kosilek, have their attorneys, but as it stands right now, women have few resources. It literally makes me sick to my stomach that liberal “civil rights” groups such as the ACLU and mainstream Gay Inc. organizations spent countless hours trying to get taxpayer funded sex reassignment surgery for a man serving a life sentence for strangling his wife to death.

    Beverly, stay pissed!

  87. Oak and Ash Says:

Bruce Jenner’s transformation and this link Gallus Mag posted on another thread (
    have given me an idea.

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume I’m not the only woman posting here who’s had real medical issues that weren’t taken seriously and treated in a reasonable amount of time. Most of us probably have stories of symptoms ignored, pain dismissed, and diagnoses delayed for ourselves, our mothers, our sisters, our friends. Yet somehow I doubt any of us have waved weapons around, no matter how much we were suffering (or how much some people might have deserved a good scaring). And Jenner managed to get multiple cosmetic procedures very quickly just because he said so.

Maybe we’re approaching matters the wrong way. Maybe it’s time to tell the doctor, dentist, or chiropractor, “I’ve always felt like a healthy person trapped in a sick person’s body” or “I identify as pain-free.” And then accuse them of bigotry against the transhealthy (the opposite of transabled, right?) when they won’t give us what we need.

Or does that only work for well-off white guys?

    • KgSch Says:

It only works for well-off white guys. The medical care where I live is terrible and everyone I know who has had to gone to the hospitals here has a horror story about it, including me.

I had a pain issue from a bacterial infection from a GI-Tract infection and they took their time to give me any pain medicine. They also didn’t realize that an elevated white blood cell count means bacterial infection. I went to two hospitals. The free clinic doctor was the one who gave me the antibiotics that fixed me.

Yet, even though I was in severe pain, I did not shoot off a gun or grab any nearby objects to throw as those bastards.

      • kesher Says:

Makes me wonder how much doctors coddle men and take their health complaints seriously because they’re genuinely frightened of male anger and violence. That’s a good reason to take men seriously. To not do it is risking serious harm or death.

    • Fruitopia Says:

One consultant psychiatrist missed my ADHD and referred me to an eating disorder clinic, because of his misogynist attitudes learned from gossip rags that all young, slim females are shallow idiots starving themselves. And that all eating disorder sufferers are liars, and you have to catch them out.

    • LC Says:

I had severe psychological and physical problems caused from taking standard birth control pills(one of biggest reasons the trans claims of hormones being safe rings so false to me) that were completely ignored by my former gynocologist. Fortunately, I ignored him and stopped taking them, and nearly all the problems went away… And the emotional effects of synthetic hormones caused severe depression, but somehow it never occurred to me to threaten suicide unless someone fixed it. It truly does seem to be a ‘guy thing.’- both the narcissistic threats and the ignoring of actual female complaints.

    • Dogtowner Says:

I have never waved a gun at a doctor, but, believe me, I have been sorely tempted. The furthest I have gone is to tell my nurse practitioner the last time I saw him that if ANYONE ever did to me what the doctor at the clinic did — called me up at home to tell me I was going to have a heart attack because she had never learned to turn the page of bloodwork results — I would contact a lawyer immediately.

It is truly amazing what women put up with from medicos. It has taken me decades to finally take none of their crap and to insist on what I need, and all I can hope for is a pleasant, cooperative nurse practitioner who fills my prescription for necessary thyroid medication. The medical care in my rural area is abysmal.

  88. grumpyuncleR Says:

This is quite a good article, calling out one of the ‘third wave’s’ inconsistencies (of course, we have pointed this out for years, but still, nice to see the points get a wider audience):

    • Susan Nunes Says:

That is a great piece. I am glad to see many more critical articles of the trans nonsense and how bad it is for women.

      • Atranswidow Says:

Yes, good article, but this line got my back up… ”as an older man in the process of becoming a menopausal woman”
One thing Bruce has no intention of being or becoming is a menopausal woman. Most late transitioners want to experience being a woman as if they were somehow 15 years old again.
If he decided to suffer night sweats and the onset of osteoporosis, fine. There is nothing authentic about his experience and never will be.

      • DaveSquirrel Says:

I totally agree, that line was the one blemish on an otherwise good article. Usually when non-RFs write, they draw on some conservative or religious theory, or crap like was in that Blaze article.

      • Dogtowner Says:

If Bruce Jenner were really a 65-year-old woman he would be INVISIBLE.

    • cerulean blue Says:

Good article, but i take issue with its claim that bruce is taking on the role of a post-menopausal woman. Bruce is likely taking more estrogen than a non-menopausal actual woman normally produces, the same artificial hormones that have been proven harmful to real menopausal women. And let’s be clear, the vast majority of sixty five year old women have no desire to look like a second rate porn star, nor the financial means to afford hairline alteration, facelift, necklift, eyebrow lift, brow ridge removal, eye bag surgery, cheek implants, chin recountouring, dermabrasion, facial hair removal, DD breast implants, and whatever else is left on the plastic surgery menu (because let’s be clear, bruce went for the all-you-can-eat plan). Nor do post menopausal women masturbate in clothing stolen from their daughter’s closet or flash their new boobs at their sons.

      • DaveSquirrel Says:

Indeed, that was the one niggle with the article. Brucie ain’t trying to be any kind of post-menopausal woman—a quick check of the appropriateness of his new shiny laydee name bears that out—no Gladys or Beryl or anything from his age bracket, nope, too mundane, something from a granddaughter’s agebracket, now that’s the pedomorphic ticket!

I do kind of wonder, with some of the doses of estrogen that they take, whether strokes/DVT are becoming a thing. Let’s not forget, the last surgery, the FFS (which dually stands for ‘for fucks sake’ as well as ‘facial feminisation surgery’!) was 10 hours—an elective ten hour surgery for a 65yo male, now that is some risky shit also. But the autoerotic asphyxiation crowd don’t seem to mind risking death for their sexual thrills either, grasshopper! (ok that last one was a clue to the last famous one). You have to wonder about the sanity of males, risking death for orgasm, when their’s are not really a patch on female orgasms. They probably think the dress and lippy will make a difference? eejits.

      • Jane (the first) Says:

Transentryists like Sarah Brown often speak as though their elevated estrogen levels make them more womanly than real women. Hilariously, the same transholes who no-platform women for discussing their own female biology flaunt their drug and surgery-enhanced “secondary sex characteristics” as proof of womanhood:

Oh that Sarah, what a card. Using primary sexual characteristics as a measure of womanhood makes you a transphobic shitlord who must be silenced. Privileging secondary characteristics, on the other hand, is perfectly acceptable. Whatever affirms trannies’ womanhood is sound liberal science, and whatever doesn’t is hate speech. Got it, prick.

Frankly, this is akin to claiming a few months on heroin would turn me into Kurt Cobain. Nevertheless, I won’t be surprised when liberal men follow transentryists’ lead and openly denounce dissenting older women as “dried-up old menopausal hags” in the name of progressivism. They assume that there are no issues that transcend partisan politics, but that is decidedly untrue in the case of many women’s issues. Over the next decade, I believe they’re going to find out how wrong they are.

      • Lint Says:

Fantastic quote Jane the First. These people are so out there that they somehow think their penis and male developed body are magically obliterated by some pills and a tracheal shave. Do these hulking, big footed, square jawed basket cases not understand how the rest of humanity sees them?

It’s amazing to me that they seem to have no idea that they don’t look like women.

      • Jane (the first) Says:

Heightening the comedy is the fact that Brown retains many of his male characteristics, namely male pattern baldness, a manly brow ridge, a masculine skeletal frame, big manhands and manfeet, etc. Anyone seeing him on the street would clock him in a second. No matter. Just mainline some estrogen and tack some silicone to your chest and voila, you’re a laydee for all liberal intents and purposes.

Most importantly, his is a completely pornsick worldview. The things that get what used to be his dick hard are what make a woman. He and his lefty bro enablers could hardly be more obvious.

      • Susan Nunes Says:

In many ways, so-called liberal men are worse sexists than the right-wingers. A lot of them are big on porn and prostitution, too.

      • endthewoo Says:

Anyone seeing him on the street would clock him in a second.

He, Brown, was whining on twitter a while ago about he how went on holiday to Spain and people were calling him sir, but in England everyone (except the horrible terfs) goes along with his delusion. Very obvious man.

      • CKDexterHaven Says:

There were some photos in the paper of Laverne Cox at a red carpet event. To be fair, when pictured alone, he did pass pretty well but, when photographed next to Kim Kardashian and Naomi Campbell, he looked like a massive drag queen. His proportions and bone structure were so noticeably male. Naomi Campbell is a tall, toned woman and he made her look tiny and fragile in comparison.

  91. Elle Says:

From Real Time with Bill Maher: “Also this is the oldest woman, 65, to appear solo on the cover of Vanity Fair, which I think sends a very powerful message–that you can be a sexy, glamorous senior woman, and all you need is strength, determination, and a dick.”

    • kesher Says:

Maher is such a misogynist, but even he sees through this. I’ve always had a kind of begrudging respect for him for refusing to swallow conventional bullshit. But, of course, as a man, he’s never going to face the same kind of silencing tactics that we’re the targets of.

  92. Jane (the first) Says:

In which we are schooled in the conservatism of sacrificing three families to a kink:

When a person starts to willingly and purposely defy natural laws that define him, he lies outside the law, and so do his actions. Where does it end? Who and what define a person as male, female, person, or non-person?

What’s completely wrong about this is that Jenner isn’t “purposely (sic) defying natural laws.” Rather, she is asserting the existence of natural laws regarding what constitutes not just a female body, but a female psychology. Think about this for a little bit, and you realize why it terrifies feminists, who have spent decades trying to deny the existence of physical or intellectual differences between the sexes. Jenner’s heartfelt admissions that even while embodying masculine physical perfection as a male athlete, she secretly hated her own body and felt unnatural in it, is a slap in the face to this worldview. The transgendered are living, breathing arguments that men and women are different. Moreover, given that Jenner’s first move upon transitioning was to put on the most feminine outfits and poses she could, she all but explicitly concedes that gender roles are rooted in nature — yes, nature, not patriarchal conspiracy.
No human can know what being a donkey is like, or how it ought to be. But we do know what being a woman is like, and moreover, how we believe a woman ought to be. To think that you were born to be that way rather than the way a man ought to be is not at all unreasonable, provided the means exist to bring your mind into harmony with the physical world, which they do.

In short, what Caitlyn Jenner did is something that conservatives with an interest in vindicating nature ought to cheer. That is, she subjected her body to physically harrowing surgery, risked and endured widespread public ridicule, and gave up a career as a shining example of masculine achievement in order to live as merely the closest approximation to being a woman she could manage, and she did this all because she believes in a deeply conservative principle: that gender roles still mean something, that women should behave a certain way according to nature, and that those facts are something even an inborn human body cannot deny.

And if Caitlyn Jenner cannot deny her sex, what chance have feminists?

Here Mytheos Holt sets a new standard in libertarian ignorance about human beings, which is saying a lot. His attempt to shoehorn Jenner’s nutty behavior into a natural law framework is downright bizarre. The only example he gives of Jenner’s “female psychology” is his decision to pose in extremely feminized clothing. His general behavior couldn’t be farther from that expected of women in conservative circles. Any woman treating her children as Jenner did would be vilified, not celebrated. Conservatives think women exist to be helpmeets. Holt, on the other hand, fetes Jenner for centering himself at the expense of everyone around him. He respects not the woman but the man in him.

Like all paraphilias, transgenderism takes over one’s life, exemplified by Jenner’s alienation from his first four children, three failed marriages, and creepy boundary violation of his step-daughters. Surrendering to the fetish only increases isolation from loved ones, and can end in suicide once dopamine desensitization runs its course. What about this insanely dysfunctional behavior reflects what conservatives “believe a woman ought to be”?

And Holt thinks we should find his argument terrifying? Au contraire. It’s great when libertarians put their utter cluelessness about human relationships right out there. Since the trans crazy train is bound to go off the tracks eventually, I’d just as soon see the likes of Holt go with it.

I know libertarians rarely even try to hold an internally consistent worldview, but it’s still hilarious that this guy is trying to argue for “natural law”. I thought libertarians advocated for a dog-eat -og system, regardless of how it damages the planet and humanity and defies how human cultures across the planet and throughout history have actually operated.

Libertarians also tend to be obsessed with transhumanism. What about that follows “natural law”?

    • Jane (the first) Says:

Holt has a hard-on for feminism because libertarianism doesn’t indulge his inner asshole quite enough. He still wants that affirmative action for men masked as natural law. To him Jenner is some kind of advertisement for gurls being gurls, but only a socially-stunted libertarian would see him that way. Nothing about Jenner’s interactions with other people signals “woman” in the natural law context, or in any context.

This . . . this is beyond priceless. Every woman ever betrayed by a MTT (and I speak from experience) needs to watch this. Actually, everyone needs to watch this!

    • Teal Deer Says:

      That was stunningly beautiful.

    • janedear099 Says:

that was so much better than I even expected. YES!

    • CKDexterHaven Says:

      I love her!

She is so right. Why should women have to pretend they are happy and supportive when they’ve just found out decades of their life, decades they are never getting back, have been wasted on someone else’s lie? Would men be expected to stay married to a transman? The hell they wouldn’t!

    • Oak and Ash Says:

      Blessed are the truth tellers!

      • Atranswidow Says:

Wow…just telling it like it is! You have no idea just how much I needed to hear that today. Truth and eloquence in equal measure, a powerful mixture!

    • Susan Nunes Says:

Is there a petition afloat to pressure ESPN to withdraw the award to Jenner? The awards themselves aren’t until mid-July. I would bet there would be hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people protesting this travesty of “courage.”

  94. Elle Says:

Call me horrified . . . but also hopeful, because the cray-cray is so freaking evident in these photos:

If you have a strong stomach, here is Bruce parading in public showing off his sexual fetish. Note the man legs and arms, note the man legs:

    • Jane (the first) Says:

In the clip, which shows her chatting with her daughters, she also reflects on the impact she could have by being honest about herself.

Actually, you could have a tremendous impact, Bruce, but that will never happen, because the media ensures that as an entitled trans you’ll never have to be honest with yourself.

  96. mayimoktoo Says:

NAACP leader has been masquerading as a black woman. People are understandably outraged. Bruce masquerades as a woman, gets called brave.

I no longer understand this planet.

  97. Robin Says:

To the lady who made the video: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!! I’ve been so sad and frustrated that people where I live (Seattle, omg, don’t be here if you even mention a work against Trans folks, you will be killed) do not understand why this is NOT A GOOD THING for woman, for wives, ex wives and really how hard this is for kids-my kid was forced to put make up on her Dad last weekend, why? Because he thinks its fun and that it does not matter that she does not want to be doing these things! She comes home upset and confused and no one, NOBODY seems to be saying hey this is maybe not a great idea for Dads or parents to be involving their kids in….To everyone here-Thank you all for talking for reading for seeing the truth. Also-to the lady in Seattle as well, I was also in a bathroom in a Safeway on Capt. Hill and a MTF was aggressively trying to get into my stall and I was so upset realizing that there is no where left for me or my kid to feel safe, EVER. This is all making me want to move far, far away.

    • Beverly Says:

      Hi Robin,

I am so sorry that happened to you in the restroom. Yes, Seattle is terrifying. I actually considered leaving right away, breaking my lease and FLEEING. I’m so glad someone else sees the madness for what it is and understands. Sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy. Did you call the police when that freak tried to get in your stall? Please call the police, we need a record of these freaks doing crappy and violent things. I wish there was a way us women in Seattle could get together.

  98. Elle Says:

Amazing, this article actually talks about the woman that Bruce Jenner KILLED. As if she actually mattered, you know?

What was most remarkable about that Vanity Fair cover was not what you saw, but what you did not see.

Jenner certainly did not seem haunted by the demise of a fellow woman four years older than herself, who lived not far from the Kardashian girls in a gorgeous residence that already had been shadowed by a terrible loss a dozen years ago.

Kim Howe and her husband had found a perfect house in a 6,300-square-foot Mediterranean villa that previously belonged to ace baseball pitcher Bret Saberhagen. It came complete with a pool, spa, and a “cave waterfall.”

“It was their dream home,” says real estate agent Jim Pascucci.

Just two days after the Howes closed on the place, and just as they were to embark on a European holiday, Robert suffered a fatal heart attack.

Kim moved in nonetheless along with her rescue pooch, Daisy.

“She lived there all those years by herself with the dog,” Pascucci says.

The agent recalls that Kim Howe kept herself perpetually busy with various charitable endeavors.

“She was always buzzing around doing something,” Pascucci says.

As has been reported by the New York Daily News, Howe had been active long before her widowhood in supporting the efforts of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to find alternatives to experimentation on animals.

“Supporting and giving and kind,” Dr. Neal Barnard tells The Daily Beast.

She was the very best kind of passionate advocate, touching what was decent in others rather than badgering them.

“She had strong feelings, strong beliefs, but a very quiet, soft-spoken person,” Barnard says.

    • No name Says:

in many cases, men have killed women and transitioned. Creepy he killed her and co-opted her lifestyle. Perhaps he fetishized his neighbor’s lifestyle, or felt envy for it. Men that want their cake, and they want to eat it too.

  99. Oak and Ash Says:

Apparently the head of the NAACP in Spokane is a white woman who has made herself appear black, with darkened skin and permed hair. People have been comparing her to Bruce Jenner on social media and asking why she can’t be transracial.

The answer? It’s not at all like being transgendered, because black people can’t escape oppression by identifying as white. Right.

‘”It’s not just her appropriation. It’s that she claimed an oppression that wasn’t hers,” wrote user Charles Clymer. [Clymer appears to have pale skin and blue eyes in his photo, calls himself feminist, army vet and LGBTQ–or perhaps it would be better to say he “identifies” as a feminist. See also (

Kris Jenner speaks out about the creep she married:

    • Atranswidow Says:

”Knowing what she knows now, Kris tells the magazine the way Caitlyn approached their separation and subsequent divorce felt like “the most passive-aggressive thing I think I’ve ever experienced.””

This seems to be the way, just read Christine Benvenuto’s account of her divorce. As for my own experience; well, he tells me that he is doing everything for the good of the children and that I’m the one damaging them. He justifies everything he does and dishes out the blame in bucket loads just like Bruce Jenner and Jay Ladin did.

  106. Hecate Says:

    This is amazing. 🙂

Tucker’s been pretty tough with the trans issues. We’ll see what he does with Bruce Jender.

    • rheapdx1 Says:

More than likely he will, if only due to the fact that, Jenner has acted in a fashion that calls into question the overall mindset. To not take the person to task, would be enabling them more.

He’ll be respectful…but as has been shown before, if Tucker sees or hears any BS….then, it’s ‘hammer time’.

    • rheapdx1 Says:

Oooops…NPR beat Tucker to the carnival. ‘Here and Now’ has an interview on now and it is bad.

There are other valid reasons for the fed to cut PBS funding, to be honest. far as a major supporting footnote, this would be one.

    • rheapdx1 Says:

Anyone who thinks that the Jenner circus of the absurd could not stranger, may want to read through the MSN piece about the layoffs at ESPN. If only because of what is mentioned in the middle of the article.

Apparently, they are losing subscribers, at the expanded basic cable level, due to a ‘liberal emphasis’. It was not because they dropped/lost the NHL rights, it is not because the ratings for Monday Night Football are…on a per capita basis….low. It is the ‘liberal emphasis’. Where oh where could that have come from? Hmmmmm.

Seeing there are sports fans among the LGB community, this is another reason to drop the t. If only due to this being evidence, via inference…the brigade is bad for some businesses (@GallusMag please, post this one where it would be most apt on the site).
